Luke made his way to the trade centre once more, the imposing building standing tall in the heart of Balmoral. He had been here before, and though it was only a brief visit, his presence had certainly not gone unnoticed. As he stepped through the entrance, the familiar atmosphere of bustling merchants, traders, and workers filled the air. It didn't take long for Malena, the trade overseer, to spot him again.
She approached him, her stern expression unchanging.
"Back again, I see," she said, folding her arms as she stood before him. "Mayor Valen still isn't back, so unless you've come for another reason, I'm afraid no mayor, no pass for you."
Luke smiled slightly, already anticipating her reaction.
"I figured. I'm not here about the mayor this time, though."
"Oh? Then why are you here?" Malena raised an eyebrow.
"I'm looking for someone," Luke explained. "A rider named Falkner. I was told he's the one I need to talk to."
