Luke and Ilyrana walked side by side through the cobbled streets of Esbakan. The town bustled with life as merchants shouted out the prices of their goods, townsfolk bartered overproduce, and children ran around in playful abandon. The energy of the town felt alive in an almost infectious way, but for now, they had a purpose. Luke and Ilyrana kept their pace slow, blending in with the crowd to avoid drawing attention. After all, it wouldn't do them much good to look like a pair of curious onlookers—or worse, stalkers.
