Time passed, and finally, Luke saw movement in the distance. A group of figures emerged from the darkness, their silhouettes growing clearer as they approached the gate. He recognized Karrigan among them, his tall frame and confident stride unmistakable.
Luke straightened up, waving to catch their attention. As the group drew closer, Karrigan spotted him and broke into a relieved grin, hurrying ahead of the others.
"Luke! You're alright!" Karrigan exclaimed, clapping a hand on Luke's shoulder with a mix of surprise and joy.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Luke replied with a smile. "Thanks to you and the others for looking out for me."
"We were worried sick. How in the world did you survive that landslide? The last we saw of you, it looked hopeless," Karrigan nodded, his expression shifting between relief and exhaustion.
