You have to admit, Defour's pass was brilliant!
Chelsea's defenders had no time to react.
Suddenly, the ball was at Hendrick's feet! And this time, he wasn't going to slow down.
In the next second, Hendrick unleashed a powerful shot towards Chelsea's goal.
It was an immediate effort—like a cannonball—blasting towards the target.
Hendrick's personal skill was undeniable. Despite the pressure from Chelsea's defenders, he decisively took his shot.
But, unfortunately for Burnley, as impressive as the shot was, Chelsea's goalkeeper Courtois was fully focused.
With a stunning save, Courtois dove to his side, stretching out to block the shot!
It was a fantastic save that kept Chelsea in the lead.
In the stands, Chelsea fans collectively gasped and then let out sighs of relief.
"What just happened?!"
"That shot nearly broke through!"
"Burnley is really aiming for all three points at Stamford Bridge tonight!"
Even the commentator, Zhan Jun, sounded nervous as he saw Burnley's sharp attack.
"Burnley is looking dangerous..."
But soon after, Chelsea regained control of the game's pace.
With Su Luo on the field, Chelsea's rhythm became more stable. He was without a doubt the team's superstar, and every touch of his put immense pressure on Burnley's defense.
As a result, Su Luo started dictating the flow of the match.
By the 30th minute, Su Luo had received the ball once again, deep in Burnley's half.
With quick, decisive movements, Su Luo breezed past defenders as if they weren't even there. Three Burnley players tried to stop him, but Su Luo didn't flinch.
Thanks to his exceptional skill and composure, he sliced through the defense like a bolt of lightning.
No doubt, Su Luo's individual talent was terrifying. The defenders stood no chance.
In no time, Su Luo reached the edge of the penalty box.
With precision, Su Luo set up his shot and fired without hesitation.
It was his third attempt from this range during the match.
The ball rocketed towards the goal, and the goalkeeper could do nothing but watch as it sailed past him and into the net!
By this point, Burnley's defense was completely exhausted.
Especially Ben Mee, who was doing everything he could to block Su Luo. He made a last-ditch effort to interfere with the shot, but Su Luo remained composed, calmly speeding up his shot to stay ahead of the challenge.
In an instant, the ball was in the back of the net!
Su Luo's individual brilliance had struck again.
Commentator Zhan Jun, barely able to contain his excitement, shouted into the microphone:
"What a sensational goal!"
"Su Luo does it again! He's making this look easy!"
"Chelsea are now up 3-1 against Burnley!"
"And with that goal, Su Luo completes his hat-trick!!"
"Listen to the fans at Stamford Bridge—they're all chanting his name!"
"He's not just the hero of the match, he's the hero of the team... and this city!"
Director Zhang on the sidelines couldn't stop praising:
"Su Luo's physical fitness is exceptional. His shooting power is tremendous. Even though Burnley's defenders did their best to block him, he still found the chance to score!"
"I can confidently say, Su Luo is currently one of the top scorers in all the major European leagues!"
At that moment, the live broadcast's bullet screen was flooded with comments.
A wave of Chinese fans filled the chat with praise for Su Luo's performance:
"Amazing! At critical moments, we can always count on Su Luo!"
"Can an Asian player really score goals like this?!"
"What a beautiful goal! Chelsea is back in the lead!"
"At this rate, Chelsea will completely dominate Burnley tonight!"
"I love watching Su Luo score!"
"Keep going, Su Luo! We want more goals!"
As the first half of the match approached its end, Burnley, playing away from home, started to feel the pressure.
Time was running out for them.
If they wanted to have any chance of winning, they'd need their star players to step up.
Burnley began launching wave after wave of attacks.
Defour quickly pushed forward with the ball. As the core of the team's offense, Defour knew the responsibility was on his shoulders.
And he didn't disappoint.
In the 41st minute, Defour received the ball near the top of the box.
Immediately, Kanté and Fàbregas rushed in to challenge him.
There was no doubt that these two were formidable defenders.
With precise timing, both players tried to disrupt his play.
But Defour wasn't fazed.
He delivered a pass that cut through the defense like a scalpel, threading the ball between Chelsea's defenders.
In an instant, Chelsea's steel defense was torn apart.
On the sidelines, Chelsea's coach Conte could only look on in frustration.
He knew that if Burnley continued to threaten like this, it was only a matter of time before Chelsea conceded again.
And sure enough, Defour's pass opened up a golden opportunity for Burnley.
The ball landed at the feet of Davos.
After receiving the ball, Davos made a sharp cut and then accelerated past Chelsea's defenders with ease.
Meanwhile, Chelsea's goalkeeper, Courtois, made a bold move. He charged out, hoping to stop Davos before he could get a clean shot.
But it was no use.
Davos was too fast, leaving Courtois with no chance to make the save.
Like a bolt of lightning, the ball flew into the back of the net.
The score now stood at 3-2.
The pressure was back on Chelsea.
You had to hand it to Burnley's players—they were relentless tonight.
Every time they had an opportunity, their strikers made sure it was one that threatened Chelsea's defense.
After Davos's brilliant goal, the referee blew the whistle for halftime.
As the players headed to the locker room, Burnley's coach couldn't hide his satisfaction. His team had given a strong performance in the first half.
