Kael and his party left Fei the next morning, every moment he spent in that place threatened to send him over the edge and he feared that he would snap and go on a murdering spree and that would not be looked at kindly by the council.
He had learned that Naiari's Celia had been killed not long after Naiari had left the palace. She had been accused of selling information to the kingdom's enemies but it was obvious why she had been killed.
Being Naiari's nurse and having raised her since she was a little baby, Celia would have been sure to notice irregularities in the new Naiari. They would have cooked up some false evidence against her and killed her to protect their secret.
