Chapter 1 - The massacre

Amist the rubble of destruction and sea of cooling dead corpses, there stands a gothic lolita dressed young petite girl completing her theme with dark black hair and unnerving red eyes. In her small hands, a monstrous looking scythe.

Her face bore a look of absolute glee as she begins to twirl amongst the dead, randomly pulling an upper half body off the ground after dropping her scythe, she starts to dance. Gush of innards come pouring out, splattering the ground with more of its gore.

Her once spotless dress marr with guts and liquid. Eerier laughter resounding the daunting area.

As she relishes in her fun, a crow approaches. It perches on a reclining pole and observes the child. She stops her fun before lifting up the half corpse's hand. The crow lands on it, seemingly used to her antics. It opens its beak,

"He summons." And caws in broken human speech.

"Time to go then. I've had my fun anyways." She replies in a sing-song tonation. The crow takes off, flying north back to the dark domain.

She releases the corpse and retrieves her sycthe while childishly making sure to take extra care to step on corpses, staining the ground forever more.

With a singular swipe from the scythe, blood red essences began seeping out from the pore of each corpses. Like water pours from a jug, the essense gathers from thousands of corpses. They swirl and compress, a huge amount gathers. The pressure rises and wind begins howl. When all are gathered and settled, a small pulsing red orb was left behind. She graps the item with a blissful smile before turning and traversing through a blanket of shadow, leaving a trail wisps in her wake.

The clearing she left behind, where the thousands of corpses lay to be abandoned and decay, there once stood a proud flourishing kingdom with decades of histories. All been unmade by a sole child's hands within a day.

The only thing standing proud was the single pole that runs through a golden throne. On it, a banner and its insignia; an outline of a capybara.

West, far far west from where the little girl has been, there, another kingdom stands. Its walls renown for being an impenetrable fortress, standing proud and undefeated as of yet for hundreds of years. The bustling markets and the diversity in races shows how far the kingdom has grown and prospered. A civilisation grows as their leader leads. Yet unbeknownst to them the fallen kinsman up south and the crisis that they are about to travail.

"Sound the alarms! They're here! They are- huh?" Was the watcher's last words. His decapitated head being hold gently in the hands of a woman, seemingly twenty of age, as she lands inaudibly on the ledge of the east side wall. She is stunning, wearing just a simple white silk dress with her dark, dark hair and flaming red eyes.

Her lips quirks up in amusement as she observes the alerted watchmen scrambling towards her, each of them with creeping feeling of trepedition for she is here. In here, with them. Their first and strongest line of defence, oh so very effortlessly breached by this woman.

She derides their struggles, giggling softly as she lifts a finger, pointing past the provinces and on to the grand castle in the misdst of the land. The poor watchmen soon are devoured from the incoming onslaught, their life so meaninglessly snuffed out.

For out of her shadow, thousands of beasts and creatures emerge; Creatures of all features, beasts of all types. All of them moves, as per her wills. Some moves leisurely while others with intent.

One, however, choses to stay. As an assurance to itself of her safety. A cougar of sorts, its massive size easily towering over her.

She smiles at its protectiveness then buries her face into its soft black fur. She lets out a sigh in content.

"Go have fun, Kiki." She says, her melodious voice so sweet and tender. It snorts in reply before making itself comfortable beside her. She smiles at it with fondness as the screams of terror echos from within then the sound of flesh being torn apart.

As she carelessly drops the head, its levity fulfilled, it hits the stone floor with a splatter and a thump, before rolling off the massive wall.

Hundreds of meters below the outerwalls where the head lands, there was a hulking man, build like a bear, walks like a bear and looms like a bear. With his name called Bear, he lifts his buldging muscled hairy arm and,

BOOM!

Decimated the whole east side wall defense. A huge waft of smoke of dust remains comes billowing about.

"Heh, so flimsy." He comments unnecessaryly, flicking off pieces of heavy rubble off him as he heads past the destruction.

"I was on top of it, you know. You could've chosen to destroy the other walls." She chided on top of Kiki as it lands gracefully near him.

"Pah! As if you would've gotten hurt." He dismissed her remarks. She rolls her eyes in exasperation before perking up, joyful eyes looking at the direction of the castle centered before them.

"Found them." She says before the three of them dissapears into a shadowy mist and reappearing in the north garden past their cathedral near the castle. A pack of flaming hounds excitedly greet her, their tail swinging so fast that there's a whirlwind of uprooted destructions behind them.

The once pristine garden, destroyed and stained with lovely red, no corpses remain.

She jumped down from her perch and pats each of their head lovingly.

"Aww, who's a good boy. You all are!" She cooed. The hounds lolled their tongues out, some puffed up, pleased by her compliments. One lay down, shamelessly asking for a belly rub during an ongoing seige. She complies anyways and the rest follow suit.

Soon after the grounds are littered with flaming hounds asking for belly rubs. She laughs merrily, unbothered by the severity of the situation and enjoying the hilarity of the moment.

Hulking Bear huffs a puff before raising a brow in query at her looming guardian. Kiki turns and inclines its head then wriggle its whiskers.

A swarm of mice skitters close, coming from all directions as they had scouted. One comes scampering up its hind leg, making its way straight to Kiki's ears. It chirps excitedly and Kiki nods. The mouse climbs further up and perches on top of Kiki's head determined to be their guide.

Kiki leans down and carefully nudges its muzzle at Clementine, for that is her name. She halts her belly rubbing session before planting her delicate hands into Kiki's soft fur behind its ear, giving it too a good patting.

"Time to go?" She asks softly while the hounds whines in disappointment. Kiki purrrs in reply and crounches down, letting Clementine hops back up. After making sure that she is comfortable and safely seated, Kiki treads forward, towards the direction where the mouse guides. Bear follows after.
