Kyo was in his room when he heard the alarms blazing, he ran out of his room and ran towards the Chairman's office to find out what was happening.
"We have multiple breaches at every state in Japan, and other countries are reporting multiple breaches as well."
"We can't decipher their ranks but from what we're getting they are above S-rank."
Kyo ran out of the office and went to seek out the others, he met Tekashi getting ready and saw Liu Xhang leaving already. He went into his changing room and got ready to leave.
(Azrael has started it, ARMAGEDDON)
Kyo stared in shock and went out of the building, he saw a massive gate above them and numerous soldiers of death came out from it. This confirmed to Kyo that Azrael was truly behind all this and from what he heard previously, that means that the other Celestial beings won't interfere.
Kyo stood ready to defend his planet, he concentrated his qi on his feet and jumped, he jumped as high as the building reaching the top and stood on the roof.
[FIRE TECHNIQUE: HELLFIRE FIST]
Kyo sent a giant fist of flames towards the army, incinerating most of them, but they regenerated instantly causing Kyo to stare in shock but he remembered when Ryuguji Han said that as long Azrael exists then the soldiers won't die ad they would continue to respawn.
He concentrated his qi on his katana and generated a massive slash which destroyed a massive amount of the soldiers, and cracked the breach as well. He stood smiling as he coated his sword with darkness readying another slash as well but he was kicked from behind by one of the Soldiers of death.
"Why do you resist your fate?."
The Shadow soldier spoke which shocked Kyo to the core as he stood and looked at the soldier in front of him.
"I ask you again, why do you resist?."
"That is because no matter how much you resist the fate of this universe has already been decided, nothing can stop it."
'I agree.'
Kyo turned around and saw two people coming out from a portal, one of them being his sister Lisa and Benimaru.
'I agree with my little brother, he's spoken well.'
'I have problems in my dimension as well, everything seems to be the same here, they've sent their Generals to every dimension, planet and country, after they've finished decimating everything then Azrael will come to End it all.'
"A very good insight from a human, you would be a good addition to the army, with the amount of qi emanating from you, you would be in the Rank of a General at least."
'I have no reason to join you, cause I like my freedom and joining you guys will strip me of it.'
"Then die along with the rest of the universe. But before that let me introduce myself. I am Verdis a General in the Army of death."
'That seemed plausible from the start.'
Benimaru charged at Verdis but he was able to block his attack while Kyo attacked from behind with his katana, sending Verdis flying backwards.
'Lisa, go help out the other hunters, Kyo and I will take care of this one.'
Lisa jumped off the building leaving Kyo who watched in shock and then his attention was turned elsewhere as Verdis punched him but he was able to react fast enough to block the attack. Benimaru kicked Verdis from behind but he blocked the kick and caught Benimaru's foot and sent him flying by throwing him towards Kyo, both of them clashed with each other but got back up immediately.
[FIRE TECHNIQUE: HELL'S DOMAIN]
Benimaru unleashed his domain on just the top of roof but it seemed to have no effect on Verdis who was still able to charge at them with speed even faster than light itself but Kyo and Benimaru were able to react fast enough and dodge the attack while Kyo coated his blade in qi and sent a dark slash at Verdis. Verdis sensed something sinister in the slash and was able to dodge but at the cost if his arm.
"That slash moved faster than I did?, This doesn't seem right."
His arm wasn't regenerating at all but he just scoffed and charged at Kyo and Benimaru but both of them were now able to move on the same speed as him as his arm had been cut off and his speed had been greatly reduced.
Kyo and Benimaru attacked him with a barrage of punches and slashes which Verdis continually regenerated from but his left arm wasn't able to regenerate.
The slash which Kyo coated in darkness was a slash which negates regeneration and immortality but he himself doesn't know that, all he knows is that it's stronger than his usual fire attacks.
Kyo coated his sword in darkness once again and charged at Verdis who sensed Kyo's intent and was about to slash him when Benimaru's flames hit Verdis which sent the General flying backwards and Kyo sent his slash immediately after Verdis which cut him in half, Verdis laid in two pieces as he was starting to disintegrate which shocked him to the core, he was surprised that mere humans were able to defeat him and they did it so soundly that he was shocked by it.
"You guys are different from the others, you're stronger and will get stronger eventually, it seems that it was fate that sent me here to be defeated by you."
'That's just what you think, it was just a coincidence.'
Benimaru spoke with certainty and walked away and then jumped off the building to search for Lisa. Kyo looked at Verdis as he was still disintegrating but he had nothing to say to Verdis and then he walked away as well.
