I jolted awake staring at the unfamiliar room, it took me another two minutes to remember Sebastian took me to another safe house, yesterday. One that was in the city and the continuous ringing of the phone that strengthened my will to rise from my bed and run towards the living room where the phone was.
"Hello!" I said drowsily placing it on my ear.
"Sienna!" it was Monty's voice and it sounded tense and urgent. That was when I remembered that I was supposed to call him or Chelsea to inform them of the change.
"I'm sorry, Monty. I know you're mad but…".
"That can wait!" he said. "Turn on the news, now!"
"Okay," I murmured, dropping the phone. With a growing sense of dread, I reached for the remote on the coffee table and turned on the television. My breath caught in my throat as I saw Janice – or Amelia as she was known standing on a podium, a bright smile on her face with cameras flashing all around her. Uncle Philip stood beside her too.
