I saw her eyes lit up with a smile when she collected the check.
I waited until she counted the zeros before looking up at me, surprise on her face. "This is a lot and I honestly appreciate…".
"I am not gifting you the money, Amelia," I cut her short "Don't thank me. Tell me everything I know and did you get the things I demanded the last time,".
"Yeah!" she nodded; her demeanour had changed completely. Gone was the seductive vixen; in her place stood a woman with sharp eyes and a calculating expression. "It was not that simple" she said "What I know … it could be dangerous. For both of us but luckily, I am such a risk taker,".
