Four years have passed since the birth of Leon and Lucian Darkmoon.
In one of the hidden mansions of the Darkmoon family, a lady dressed in dark blue attire made her way into the grand library. This lady was Selene Ravenshadow, the mother of the twins, Leon and Lucian.
"Leon, Mother is here," Selene announced as she entered the expansive library. This was one of the Darkmoon family's well-guarded secrets.
In the center of the vast room stood an enormous table, upon which lay an equally massive book. A small boy with silver eyes sat at the table, his cherubic face still showing traces of baby fat, making him undeniably cute. This boy was none other than Leon Darkmoon.
Hearing his mother's voice, Leon immediately turned around and saw his beautiful mother. With a smile, he asked, "Mom, when did you arrive?"
Selene smiled and took Leon into her embrace, "I just wanted to see my baby, so I came here. What, you don't want me to come here anymore?"
Leon's face flushed a little. He shook his head and said, "No, mother should come frequently. Your cooking is the best."
"Okay then, today I will specially prepare lunch for you," said Selene, taking Leon into her arms and heading to the kitchen.
Leon leaned on the table while his mother prepared lunch for him. During the process, Leon's mouth wasn't silent. He kept asking questions about various topics.
"Mom, let's go to the clan's treasury after lunch," asked Leon with an innocent smile.
"Why do you want to go there?" asked Selene curiously as she placed a plate full of food in front of him.
"Do you still remember the promise the old ancestor gave me? If I reach level 9 Apprentice, I can choose one thing from the treasury. A few days ago, I broke through to level 9 Apprentice mage. Ancestor even gave me permission to enter the treasury and allowed me to choose two things. I'm just waiting for someone to take me to the treasury," said Leon as he stuffed food into his mouth with one hand and waved his left hand, causing nine pure white rings to appear in the air.
Selene quickly took his hand and checked his body. After a few seconds, she was relieved that there were no problems with his body.
"Okay, first finish the meal. Then I will take you to the clan treasury," said Selene with a smile.
She silently looked at her abnormal child with emotion. Normally, children would start their practice when they are 9 years old, but her child started practicing since the day he could walk. He had already completed two whole realms. Compared to her other children, there was no comparison.
After two hours, Leon dressed neatly in white clothes. Both of them got into a magic carriage driven by a stone golem.
Leon looked through the window of the carriage, sighing to himself.
Leon might be 4 years old now, but his consciousness was that of a full-fledged teenager. He had transmigrated into this world after dying from an incurable disease.
But fate gave him a second chance. He was born into this magical world, Celestrion, where various races coexist and live together.
There are various professions in this world, mainly Battle Warriors, Mages, Battle Mages, etc. But the most respected one is the mage profession.
Even his Darkmoon family specializes in Assassin-type and shadow magic. Because of their unique bloodline traits, his family has been able to control the Darkmoon Forest for thousands of years. The land around the Darkmoon Forest changed many hands, but the Darkmoon Forest remained unchanged for thousands of years.
As he was drifting into his thoughts, he heard his mother's voice.
"Leon, do you know the significance of the Darkmoon Hidden Treasury?" asked Selene with a smile.
Leon nodded his head and said, "Yes, Mother. Our family's Darkmoon Hidden Treasury is the work of every generation. It even contains some treasures from the first ancestor's time. I heard from Grandpa that the wealth in the treasury can even make the king of Magonia jealous. Now I can select two items from the treasury that many dream of." He began to laugh foolishly.
Selene knocked him lightly on the head and said seriously, "You should choose wisely, my son. The items in the treasury are not just treasures; they are legacies and powerful artifacts that can shape one destiny. Make your choices carefully."
Leon nodded, the weight of his mother's words sinking in. "I understand, Mother. I will choose wisely."
With that, the carriage continued its journey towards the Darkmoon Hidden Treasury, carrying within it the hopes and dreams of a young mage destined for greatness.
