Ethan was about to explode with anger when a sudden thought struck him—he had once ordered other men to assault Lily Anderson.
Damn it.
How many stupid things had he done in the past?
"Miss Anderson, are you pretending to be kind? I don't believe you don't want the antidote." Aiko Nakamura sneered, blood still dripping from the corner of her mouth.
"Say one more word, and I swear—!" Ethan's rage flared again, but he forcefully pulled back his raised hand.
"If we want the antidote, there are other ways." Lily pushed the glass of lemonade across the table and glanced at the bodyguards. "Make her drink it."
Aiko laughed again. "Do you think I'm afraid of this? Mmph—"
Before she could finish her sentence, the bodyguards grabbed her and forced the lemonade down her throat. Despite her struggles, she couldn't stop them as they pinched her face, distorting her features, and made her drink every drop of the half-full glass.
