Every inch of the sky was covered by gray clouds that stretched far and out of sight. The air itself was arrested by the cuffs of coldness, making my breathing a little difficult. Why was it so cold? It was only October.
I slid my gloved hands into the pockets of my coat to generate some warmth as I waited for Ilay outside the mansion.
What was taking him so long? He had been gone for about two minutes, leaving me freezing in the cold.
As I scolded him in my mind while also appreciating the large fountains placed in the square gardens, sharp barks sliced through the thick atmosphere from the north.
I turned my neck lazily to find the dogs that had just barked.
There were five of them; triangular pointy ears, thick furs, fast pace, and...they were coming at me. I didn't sense any heightened aggressiveness from them but I couldn't control my screams as I fell backward from the sudden horror.
My arms shot up to cover my face if the animals attacked me. I just hoped they wouldn't tear the flesh from my bones.
Their barks filled the air like the iciness hanging about, accompanied by my energetic screams which were rather annoying.
I should have ran, but could I outrun a dog? I wasn't much of an athlete. Pathetic.
"Down!" A powerful order boomed from somewhere close. That voice... Ilay.
I gasped dropping my arms, momentarily forgetting about the dogs that had been running towards me.
To my deepest surprise, I saw the huskies lying on the grassy ground, two feet from where I had fallen.
"Oh gawd! Are you okay?" Irina's squeak came from the direction these huskies had run from.
Lifting my gaze, I caught her rushing over, dressed in a pair of blue jeans, a dusty brown coat, a gray scarf, and a pair of dull blue boots.
I then looked down at myself and saw just how similar our clothing was. The only slight difference was the color of my coat for I wore a dark brown coat which was longer than hers.
Ignoring the dogs, Irina came to help me up.
"Are you hurt? Should I take you to the-"
"I'm fine." I brushed off her hands from my arm and pulled myself off the hard ground.
"That was a mistake. I was bringing Ilay the dogs when they-"
"That is fine, you can go back inside," came Ilay's voice as his cologne hit me from behind like the arms snaking around my chest. "I'm sure I asked the sitter to get them ready, so why are you here exactly?"
Ilay's embrace came with warmth. He was warm. And it felt cozy being snuggled by him from behind while towering over me.
"That...I...well..." The nervousness was painted all over Irina's face, dulling her graceful features. "May I come along?" She suddenly shot bravely.
"Come with us?!" Ilay repeated, his tone amused and curious. "Well, that will depend on what 'my wife' decides." He openly gave my left tit a squeeze.
A lump instantly formed in my throat. Was my fantasy from the previous night about to become a reality?
I could see and feel Irina's agitation as she desperately tried to hide her glare behind the fake smile. "Do you mind? I do not wish to inconvenience you, it's just that... Ilay has been away for years and I just wish to catch up with him. After all, he and I grew up together."
She was trying to indirectly poke me with their past. It would have worked had I been in love with Ilay, but right now, it just felt like another piece of Ilay's history.
I smiled back at Irina and leaned my head on Ilay's chest.
Turning my face to the side to meet his eyes, I whispered with my teeth closed, "Kiss me."
The familiar proud smirk brightened.
His right hand left my chest and came to cup my face gently.
As his thumb rubbed the corner of my lips Ilay's face leaned down until his mouth replaced his thumb. Ilay's soft lips devoured mine at a slow and steady pace. In this moment, I was reminded that I was probably his first kiss which explained the awkwardness during the few times we had kissed before.
But within a few days, his kissing had improved, and felt like he had at least two years of experience. Today, he took a step forward and slid his tongue into my mouth to search for mine.
Ah shit! This was getting denser than I had anticipated. I just wanted a simple kiss to make Irina envious, but Ilay was going far ahead.
Not that I was complaining. Just that...I was fucking getting horny.
I pulled away slightly to breathe, only to have our ragged breaths mash together in the misty clouds between us.
Ilay caressed my ear, bringing forward some hair to fall on my chest. I reciprocated the act but tucked his blonde strands behind his ear, touching his lonely earring in the process.
"You look better with this hair," I complimented honestly, having completely forgotten about Irina's presence.
"Are you trying to flatter me? Cause it-" he brought his mouth to my ear and whispered, "-might just work if you wiggle your ass a little."
My ass!
I hadn't paid attention, but now that he had brought it up, the bastard was already hard, pressed on the top of my butt. I could feel it though not as clearly because of the clothes we wore.
My eyes widened unconsciously staring into nothingness.
I was brought around when Irina cleared her throat. "I, I just remembered that I have something to do," she said meekly, attracting our attention back to her.
"Oh, that's sad. I thought you wanted to join us?" I didn't hide my pride or shamelessness. "But it's okay. We'll hang out some other time." My fake smile was as great as hers.
She nodded throwing low eye-daggers at me before walking away towards the porch.
I released the breath I hadn't even realized I had held in and peeled my head from Ilay's chest along with the rest of my body.
"Where do you think you're going?" He nuzzled my temple and tightened his grip around my chest. "Some nosy rat is watching us by the window," Ilay whispered continuing with his lovey-dovey snuggles.
"Your family is as fucked up as you are."
Ilay laughed. "Glad you feel that way. I'd have been surprised if you praised them, or me."
I sighed. It was pointless trying to infuriate Ilay. Not like it felt horrible being offered his warmth with how the cold was eagerly awaiting my vulnerable body to stab.
"Why do you have so many dogs?" I asked as my attention fell on the black-white huskies still on the ground.
"Because I loved dogs. They were the only genuine beings around this house." Ilay's tone lacked any trace of life. 'Twas if he had relived his dull days in the few seconds it had taken him to answer that.
"What about now?"
He embraced me firmly. "I have you."
"Why are you certain I won't betray you?"
He chuckled smoothly and pressed his cheek on mine from behind. But the chuckle died out, replaced by a cold murderous air as he said, "Because you know what I'm capable of. I can already see myself keenly peeling the skin from your flesh as you cry and scream in agony and your blood staining my naked body."
My heart sunk in the pit of my chest as I visualized everything Ilay had described.
"Have you ever done it?"
He nodded like an innocent child answering an innocent question.
"He passed out five times and eventually died before I was done. A bit disappointing... But at least his skin made a great cover."
Yep. Ilay was definitely a psychopath. And yet...that fact no longer scared me.
