Emiya's residence.
When my feet hit the familiar floor, I sat down on the couch and placed Ophis on my lap, resting my head on hers and hugging her lightly. Tia settled next to me and leaned on my shoulder, humming softly to herself. Archer and Lancer were gone, so it was just us in the living room.
Well, seeing the consequences of my own actions, much less ones like this, was very... uncomfortable... even if I did have a little fun....
Now that I'm here, in a familiar and calm environment, moments of the incident that weren't being paid enough attention to were popping up in my mind.
Many different emotions flashed across Rizevim-chan's face as her gaze met mine. But joy, disbelief, and embarrassment were the strongest. И...
How the hell am I supposed to react to that!
Imagine a hot and juicy milf: sharp and alluring eyes, plump lips, long silver hair, measurements 90-60-90, pale and smooth skin, slender legs and graceful arms... and then spice it all up with the demeanor of a first-time schoolgirl of about fourteen years old in love when she's accidentally seen by her lover in a relatively unsightly way.
I buried my face in Ophis's hair, who was already munching on the Emiya cookies that were on the table in front of the couch.
As I understand it, Rizevim-chan hasn't left her room since the moment I overdid it, to put it mildly. I guess she doesn't even eat outside, and the only one allowed to enter her chambers is Euclid, whose loyalty to Lucifer is unwavering no matter what.
I understand perfectly well the reason for her reaction to me. After all, I am not stupid like average Japanese schoolboy, which could rival the density of the crust of the planet itself. However...
Is it weird that I find the now Rizevim-chan fascinating? Not as a woman, but as an older sister for whom spring has come after hundreds of millions of years.
By the way...
I slowly turned Ophis around to face me. She looked at me questioningly as she chewed a cookie while holding it with her hand.
- In the Chaos Brigade, everything in the Chaos Brigade is planned by Rizevim-chan, right? - I asked.
- I don't know,'' Ophis simply replied, ''I only gave them snakes.
Hehe. That's nothing new. However, now it's safe to say that Rizevim-chan is in charge of everything. Or was, until she became a "she", since I don't think she's capable of much strategic planning in her current state. Right now, all her thoughts are clogged with me both literally and figuratively.
- I don't care what they do. The important thing is to bring back the silence by getting rid of the Great Red. - she finished and turned back to the table, reaching for the next batch of cookies.
Well, the Space Between Dimensions is indeed quiet, as only a few can survive there. True, according to Tia, the Great Red is a very noisy 'kid'. If Ophis is an example of a bored recluse, he is a hyperactive and full of energy teenager. However, this begs the question, what happened before Great Red kicked Ophis out? After all, he is considered the protector of this dimension, and Ophis is far from a stickler for unnecessary movement.
I sighed tiredly and leaned back on the back of the couch.
In any case, I need to visit Yasaka. It's not like I can't be interrupted twice in one hour.
Suddenly, a spatial gap opened in front of me, from which a shabby Vali who... fell out.
- Enough! Leave us alone, you bloody witch! I won't give you Albion! - he shouted at the top of his voice as he crawled away from the crevice. True enough, after a second, he was bound by glowing ropes imbued with the fairy's aura.
- That's right! I will never submit to you! - Added a male voice from the blue-white wings on Vali's back.
I think I know what this is all about. Hehe.
- Oh? And what will you do, white lizard? Out of your prison. Weak and helpless. No wonder you lost to the red dragon. Really pathetic, isn't it? - Smiling evasively, Morgan said, slowly stepping out of the gap and striding towards Vali.
- It was a draw! I would have won if He hadn't intervened! - Albion objected loudly as the wings on Vali's back flashed with furious frequency.
- But you didn't win, did you? - Morgan asked - What a pathetic sight, Albion himself, whose age is almost as old as the planet, one of the most powerful dragons, hopelessly looking for excuses for his defeat. As a native of the British Isles, I don't know if I should collapse in tears of frustration.
- Enough! Please stop! - Albion shouted pitifully now - I can't take it anymore!
- Stop insulting my partner, witch! - Vali tried to defend him.
- Or what, a lost descendant of Lucifer? Haven't we already established that I'm much stronger than you? - Morgan switched to Vali, placing a hand on his cheek - So much bluster came out of your mouth, but without any proof. You didn't even damage my clothes or hair, you know. Not even your, what's it called? "Juggernaut Drive" used, and it's no use. You're really weak.
- Stop it! I don't want to hear you! - Vali covered his ears and shook his head.
Yeah... She's not being petty, is she? Morgan wasn't usually this sarcastic, but apparently Vali had hurt her somehow. The scene definitely gave the impression of some bully unilaterally bullying a weak and defenseless poor guy. Though in this case, it's probably deserved, and the "troublemaker" isn't exactly weak and defenseless. Well... almost.
Of course, I wasn't the only one watching this whole spectacle. No, it wasn't Ophis and Tia who were busy with other things, but the team of Vali, Elaine, and Katerea that came out after Morgan.
Biko and Kuroka giggled loudly as they watched Vali being bullied and didn't hide their cheerful mood. Arthur and Le Fei awkwardly averted their eyes, unable to look at it. Elaine and Katerea, with professionally stoic faces, stood behind everyone and silently watched the action.
- Ahem," I fake cleared my throat to get their attention, "Why the hell are you here? Couldn't you have picked some other place?
As soon as I uttered my words, those present immediately turned their attention to me. However, when they saw the Ophis on my lap, they were a bit wary. Biko smiled nervously, while Kuroka preferred to focus all her attention on me. She examined me from head to toe and then gave me a seductive smile, to which I only rolled my eyes.
However, in the next second, Le Fei was suddenly behind her back and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. Feeling this, Kuroka naturally flinched, starting to sweat and shiver. She cautiously turned towards the little witch and raised her hands as if to show that she wouldn't do anything. Le Fei then gave her a beaming smile and pulled her back, to which the nervous Kuroka chose to simply comply, throwing a hurt look at Arthur's sister, who only smiled strainedly.
Katerea stood silently behind me, as if returning to her work, and Elaine didn't react except to shake her head occasionally. Morgan gave me a friendly wave, only to return to glaring at Vali afterward.
- I... apologize for that, Romani-san," Arthur lowered his head, "But no other place to save Vali has crossed my mind.
- Well, well, well, well, why so adamant, boy. I only wanted to study the dragon's soul in those wings, nothing more," Morgan grinned, then looked at me, "Did you miss me, husband?
- Like Death... - I mumbled carelessly and tilted my head sharply to the side. At the same time, Katerea bounced to the side due to....
WHOOSH.
A giant axe staff flew past where my head was and where Katerea was, crashing into the wall and getting stuck in it. And Morgan, with her arm still outstretched, smiled sweetly and put her free hand to her cheek.
- Oh? I think my hearing is failing me," she said in a lusciously sweet tone, "I think I heard that you weren't happy to see me. And I did hear that, didn't I, husband?
I chose to remain silent and snuggle up to Ophis, who didn't care about anything at all except Emiya's baking.
I'm just shocked. What's with this habit of solving things by force?! What if I didn't dodge in time?! My severed head would have been sandwiched between her axe staff and the wall like I was slaughtered in a slaughterhouse and thrown away! Damn Berserkers...
- Hmm? Do you think something bad about me? Or am I just "thinking"? - Morgan asked without changing her tone, looking at me as if to force me to say yes.
My eyebrow twitched.
Mind-reading now, huh?! And anyway, why the hell am I just putting up with this attitude if I'm stronger than her!
- Be careful what you think, husband," I heard a voice behind me, making me jump up and down in surprise. Morgan, who was suddenly behind me, whispered softly in my ear, resting her head on my shoulder, "They can hurt. And a lot more than you think.
Why do I get the feeling that even Hercules, heels blazing, would run from her, trying to save at least one life out of his twelve? Or do I?
