7:00 AM: The alarm on his phone woke Edmund up from his sleep. He brushed his teeth and walked to the dining room in their new apartment in the Carterian Empire to eat breakfast. He saw his father and Mia eating bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs for breakfast while his mother was washing the dishes. His Dad was watching TV while eating.
"Breaking News imperial scientists have officially declared that we surpassed the knowledge of Hero Richard's Tome last week, to celebrate this momentous event his majesty Emperor John IV and the Imperial Congress have declared that the 13th of August is a holiday called "Tome Day""
"Damn, this is an eventful year, isn't it? Dad said while drinking coffee.
"3 months ago the Absolutist League split apart due to the revolution in the Ivannite Tsardom and the Holy States seeking reconciliation with the Episteme Sect.
"And now we have surpassed the knowledge of Richard The Strange"
"Great news for us though" Mom said from the kitchen.
"Yeah, definitely" Dad said while continuing to eat his breakfast.
Mia was eating while looking at her phone when she noticed me.
"Big brother you have woken up!"
"How was your sleep?"
"Meh, the sleep itself was good but because we have to go to school, I can't sleep as much as I want"
"Aww don't be like that big bro today is the day we'll reunite with Yuki, Jiro(Sato), Tom, Marry, and Anna!"
"Yeah, I guess you're right, the sleep quality is now good" I gave a thumbs up and Mia smiled back at me.
"Edmund, eat your breakfast already or you'll be late for school?"
I looked at my plate and I sighed, bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs again?
Mom said in a menacing tone and grin.
"Huh, you don't like my food?"
"So you want to eat grass, huh?"
"NO, NO, NO I WASN'T SAYING THAT MOM"
"I LOVE YOUR FOOD"
"It's just that I'm bored of eating the same thing again" I said sheepishly.
"Can we or I eat pancakes with syrup every day for breakfast instead?"
"Or everything sweet really"
Mom sighs, "You already eat tons of sweets every day. If you don't stop, you'll lose all your teeth, you know?"
I won't though I have the [Dentist's Dream] perk which gives me perfect teeth which is paired with the [Always Healthy} perk so I can eat as many sweets as I want.
"Stop complaining, you have to be ready for the academy"
"Yes, madam"
It has been 10 years since my encounter with Loki, and a lot has happened since then. I managed to become close to Yuki, so I often hung out with her, Mia, and Jiro(Sato) when I was in Saran. I even met her family, and it turns out that my mom and dad knew them. I don't know how they didn't notice each other before I met her family.
I stayed at Saran for a few years before traveling around the world for my dad's job, meeting new people, and then back to Saran again, then back to the Commonwealths. Before I left Saran, Yuki, Jiro, Mia and I promised to meet again at The Royal Academy of New Sparta(an academy established along with The Royal University of New Sparta by James the Great in 65 AA).
But we have to stay in the Commonwealths during the first year of the Academy because Dad has to stay for his job in the UCIA(United Commonwealth Intelligence Agency) I don't know why though. Oh yeah, Dad wasn't lying when he said he's a UCIA agent that's why he knows Yuki's family but how did he become a secret agent? He can't keep a secret to save his life, he would tell us stuff all the time from classified information to what Mom was like when she was younger.
I also got better stats and more perks from completing quests.

The reason I only managed to get 4 more traits in 10 years is that I saved up a lot of my points to get the [Superhuman Strength] perk. I wanted the [Superhuman Strength] perk to get closer to Yuki literally and metaphorically. I wanted to help her control her strength because of her [Gift of The Warrior] intensity she can't get too physically close to people.
So I worked my ass off, doing many quests to get the perk and it was definitely worth it. She was so happy when I "accidentally" held her hand and didn't get my hand immediately crushed, she was crying tears of joy, and she wouldn't stop smiling for the entire day.
Right now I'm saving up for another perk.
After I finished breakfast me and Mia walked to the academy. It's fortunately close to our apartment so we don't have to walk far and we can sleep in more. When we walked through the academy's gate we saw pictures of the current emperor of Carteria and a giant statue of a bald eagle, the animal of the Carterian royal family and the animal that is in the Carterian Empire's flag. An animal that doesn't exist in this world but is said to have existed in a land called "America" the homeland of Richard the Strange.
There's a crowd of students in front of the school trying to get new students to join their clubs. There are the cooking club, the drama club, the soccer club, the game club, the world council club, etc, etc. There's even a research club where you do research, I don't why you would join that club though isn't it basically just an extra science class?
Anyway, I'm not looking to join any clubs right now. Yuki and the others are here before me, so they can show me around the academy but where are they?
I should text them.
Rat king: [Where are you guys?]
newuser: [Yeah where are you guys?]
Sater: [In the cafeteria]
Rat king: [And where is that?]
Yuki: [We come to you, where are you?]
Rat king: [Near the bald eagle statue]
"We have to wait here right?" Mia questioned me
"Yeah, didn't you see the texts on Bing?"
"I did but I just want to make sure"
We waited at the bald eagle statue for a few minutes, then finally we saw Yuki and the others.
