As I turned a corner an ordinary Saranese house came into view.
Here it is my house, now normally I would be really happy to be home but because I'm late due to a certain stupid cat.

As I open the door and walk inside, a white-haired girl with red eyes runs down the stairs, yelling "Big brother you're finally home!" and hugging me. So I hug her back.

"Mom and Dad are angry at you and I'm worried about you, you know hmph," she says while pouting.
"Yeah sorry, I was distracted with this" As I said that I lifted the stupid cat and showed it to her while smiling.
"See isn't it cute, I found it in a box with "adopt me" written on it"
As she sees Loki her smile widens and her eyes sparkle with joy.
"It's so cuuttee!!"
"We should keep it!" Mia says excitedly

"But mom and dad might not allow it so can you help me convince them?"
"Yeah! I will convince them so well that they'll give me money!"
"Wait are you trying to distract me from getting mad at you?"

After patting her, I pull my hand away, but Mina pulls my hand back to her head.

She's so spoiled she asked for hugs and head pats everyday and I know I shouldn't keep spoiling her but she's so cute and adorable and smart and good.
How can I not spoil her?
"Just because you complimented me, doesn't mean I forgive you hmph" As Mia says that she pouts.
"I'm sorry"
"So how about as an apology, I'll buy you ice cream or any other snack you want"
"Really!!"

Just when I'm about to feel relaxed.
I hear a voice that sends a shiver down my spine.
"Edmund come to the dining room table now!"
It was Mom's voice, lucky I picked the [Calm Mind] perk, or else I would have been sweating and panicking.
Though is that a bad thing? Because if I look like I'm panicking and feeling guilty I might get a lighter punishment.

Ok, so I'll make my face have a fearful and guilty expression with some tears coming from my eyes.
While also looking down at the ground to look like that I feel ashamed and fidgeting with my hands to make it seem like, I'm nervous.
I go to the bathroom to check what my acting looks like, I look in the mirror and act.
I see a boy a nervous and scared boy who is afraid to get punished by his parents, while at the same time feeling guilty that he did something wrong.
Getting the [Genius Actor] perk is definitely worth it, I could be a professor actor with this.
Phew, I should be ready now, I go to the dining room and try to lessen my sentence.
