My name is Edmund Carter, I'm 6 years old and I was walking back home after another boring day at school. After turning a corner I saw a white cat suddenly start to float, scaring all the cats away from it.
Then it notices me and turns its head towards me, moving towards me. Upon seeing this, I did the reasonable thing and immediately ran in the opposite direction as fast as I could because who wouldn't especially for a 6 years old.
But despite my efforts I was back at the place where I saw the cat. The cat must have teleported me here or something, despite that. I continue trying to run away even though I keep being teleported back again and again. The cat must have been annoyed because it suddenly yelled to my mind.
"Can you stop trying to run away every single time I move you back here!"
"It's really annoying and costs a lot of power!"
"It's hard to get and also take a very long time to get back" it said in a annoyed tone
So I yelled back
"HELL NO who in their right minds would not try to run away!"
"From a floating white cat with scary red eyes!"
"Can cats even have red eyes!" I said while panicking
So I kept trying to run away for 10 mins, until I got tired and stop, putting my hands on the ground with sweat covering my body. I don't know what else will save me so became desperate.
So desperate that I started preying to God, Jesus Christ and the Heroes desperately because I don't know what else to do "Oh God please save me if you do I promise to mostly not complain when I have to go to Church on Sunday and try to eat my vegetables, Oh merciful God, Oh please Jesus Christ, Oh great Heroes please protect me" with a little bit of tears in my eyes
The Cat spoke into my mind once again
" *sign You finally got tired from all the running you did, it's been 10 mins"
"Relax I'm not gonna hurt you"
He won't hurt me? Thank you God, Jesus Christ and the Heroes!! I promise to mostly not complain when I have to go to Church and that I will try to eat my greens, Thank you!!
Thanks to that I managed to regain some of my composure
"How do you have this much energy?"
"Is it because 6 year old and young children in general are energetic?"
I quickly thought of a response
"I... I don't know?"
"Adrenaline?"
"That makes sense," the cat said while nodding and holding its paw on its chin.
"Hold on, how do you know what adrenaline is?"
"Aren't you 6 years old?"
Wait, the cat knows that I'm 6… How? It must be stalking me or something. Wait if he knows that I'm 6 then how does he not know how or that I know what adrenaline is. So he might not be stalking me in a normal way.
"I know about it by watching Votube videos and I also saw it in a book somewhere"
"Damn you can really learn almost anything in this era huh"
"Well never mind that Edmund, you're very lucky today because I decide to spend most of my power to give you the opportunity to improve everything about yourself and to cure my boredom by being gifted with the RPG System" the cat said while holding two of his front limbs to show a semitransparent blue screen.
"Like the name suggests the RPG System functions like a RPG"
"So you complete quests to earn points, skills and maybe perks to upgrade yourself just like an RPG"
"But instead of killing dragons and saving princesses to complete quests, you'll do more realistic tasks like helping an old lady walk across the street to more extreme quests, though it really depends on me or the system itself"
"Any questions?" the cat asked in a friendly tone
I responded
"Yeah are you real?"
"Am I hallucinating?" while pinching my arm
The Cat responded with "No"
"This is real, I am floating, I am talking to you telepathically and the blue screen is real"
I don't what to say, the event that is happening to me right now is supernatural, it can't be explain by science at least for now. But I have ask more questions to learn learn before he gets bored, so I respond with more questions.
"Why did you decide to give me the RPG System?"
"Who and What are you?"
"Does this endangered me and people I care about?"
"I give you the system because I know you wouldn't abuse the System too much unlike most people and most importantly you're young so you'll live much longer then the other potential candidates because most them is too old so can you entertain me for much longer and make this investment actually worthwhile"

No, no, no what am I going to do me and the people I care about is being threated, I have to agree if I don't something terrible will happen but if I do, I will basically be Loki's slave because he controls the System. Wait a second didn't he say that he spent most of his power to do this and that it is hard and time consuming to get? That means he invested a lot into this, that gives me a chance to turn this around. I can try threated him by not participating and because he invested so much into this that he have to backdown. To be honest I'm fine with having the system it's just that having a unknown being with supernatural powers that's currently threating me, to have that much power over me is too risky and it killed the deal. However this thing that I'm about to pull might be as or more risky who knows but it's better then being a slave to this shit God. Oops I shouldn't swear mom said not to swear but dad said only swear at bad people or people you hate so this should be fine right? So after I clear my thoughts, I put my plan into motion and said to Loki.
"No fuck you, you pieces of absolute shit"
"Go burn in hell"
