The situation might have been exaggerated and escalated by other parties invested in the face off between Tanya Heinz and Sophia Hart.
Nolan Hart, being a dutiful son, had already informed his parents. The old couple initially did not believe it. But Nolan had proof. He even told that Sophia was going out of bounds. Why else would she not tell anyone about her performance? Even he, her uncle, felt awkward when others had praised her to become capable enough to play in the concert and worry about company status that none of the family members had enough time to spare to attend the said concert.
"If this was any other girl, it would not be a bad thing. We could just write it off as one time thing or that she was recovering. But, no less than five people stopped me yesterday night to talk about this. They were all like- you have a great niece, a talented musician. Shame that her career will be cut short. When I asked why, they said it was because our companies are facing lots of difficulties and it was taking all our efforts to keep it floating. How would we have money to pour on her musical career?"
"How could they wish like that? They are playing wicked." Mrs Hart said.
"Well, you can't really blame them, Mom. It just looked that way. Lexia Windsor was chief of guest in that concert. Family members of all the performers had attended it without fail. If we could not attend, it just means we had even bigger worries than attending and meeting Madame Lexia Windsor."
"How much have the shares fallen today?" Mr Hart asked.
"Well, I did talk to others and they had assured me they would not speak of this matter with anyone. Still...the share value is less by six points. Few tentative collaborations have also stalled."
"Collaborations got stalled and you allowed it? You are our first born, Nolan. It's your duty to make out companies stand tall, not just be a bystander."
Nolan tried to pacify his parents. He had to, because there was a bigger bomb waiting for them. "They only got stalled because I talked them from cancelling them entirely. And I had to talk pretty fast too. And if the matter just ended with some stalled collaborations, I would not have come home to you to talk about them."
Yes. Collaborations can get stalled. Few may even get scraped off completely. It happens in business. About the talk going on about the company coming down completely...well, the quarterly reports and a party to celebrate a 'new' high in business growth would take care of it. Apart from suffering for few days and hiding their faces till the clarification and raising up again, it did not hurt them much. The talks would be unpleasant but they just had to bear it for few days, that's all.
But now Nolan was saying that this was not the actual matter. How worse is this actual matter?
"Sophia has now made that girl from Heinz family angry."
That was a big bomb indeed. The hue and cry the Harts made..uff, unbearable. Even before Nathan Hart finished scolding Sophia, her grandparents made her take leave from the school to go the old residence. They just called the principal directly with the request. The heroine of few hours rushed away from the centre stage even before seeing the glimpse of the villain.
The old Hart couple had raised more kids and they raised them in hard way. No pampering, only obligations. They did not even allow Sophia to talk before she was slapped and ordered to beg forgiveness from that Heinz girl.
"Why? Why should I? " The cry was not from this life but the previous one too. She never understood why she had to suffer? All she wanted was a loving family and they used that to trick her, harm her, push her into an inferno.
"Because you are a Hart. You will do exactly as we say if you want to remain so."
"Do you have any ideas how far reaching consequences are thanks to your shenigans yesterday? Collaborations stalled, refused. Share values coming down. As if that was not enough, you just had to anger that Heinz girl. You have any idea what they can do to us? To our companies?"
Oh yes, the collaborations stalled was due to her not letting her family know of her performance in the concert. The shares decreased in value for the same reason. It had absolutely nothing with mismanagement and slacking off the Hart brothers. Thanks uncle for this lovely gift.
The old Hart couple just wanted her to beg forgiveness from Tanya Heinz. If the opposite party was Beatrice Kane, they would have ordered that girl to beg forgiveness from them. Just the matter of face.
Okay, if you think this is bad, let's make it worse. Sophia suddenly had realised the hidden benefit of this meaningless fight. If the fight became enormous enough, the Harts would heartlessly discard her. She won't even have to lift her hand and they would push her away completely.
"I don't know what happened to Tanya Heinz that she is angry. All I have heard are rumours. That lady hasn't even talked to me. Yet, all of you have already called me guilty and making me pay the price."
Nolan Hart said, " Well, she has already let us know about it."
Yes. Tanya Heinz had already let the old Hart couple of this via her grandparents. She had taken care of gossipmongers directly. It felt good to exercise and slap them all silly. But the main culprit would not get scot free with just few slaps. If only hitting her was enough, she could have done that already. She could have just gone to Sophia's classroom and hit her directly. Who in the school could have stopped her? Slapping her, hitting her was not enough. Sophia Hart had to suffer a lot.
Author's note -
Will Sophia really be removed from the family?
Tanya Heinz is a new opponent to Sophia. After all, they had not crossed each other in previous one.
Is this the so called butterfly effect?
