The Golden Bell awards ceremony was a brief interlude to Kingston University. The students there were either rich enough to not have blinkers when it comes to idols and stars or they were so engrossed in their studies that they didn't care much about them.
The initial hubbub, gossip sessions about singers, music directors, composers and the complete breakdown of songs all slowly stopped. The background music was no longer the highest downloaded song of the year but their old choice.
There were still murmurs about despicable and unfilial Sophia but no one came forward to talk loud about it. Whether it was due to stern admonishment by college superiors, deft handling by sleuth like Lisa and her band of friends, friendly talk by David and his bunch of rich but useless brats or even...a frown from the Devil, whatever the reason might be, Sophia never had to listen to harsh and veiled comments again.
