Technically, Sophia should not be burdened by whatever Shirley Hart or other Harts were doing. Kingston University was a world in its own, a better version of ivory tower, if one has to describe it crudely.
Students there were nearly categories at the beginning - poor but exceptionally brilliant, rich and brilliant and very, very rich with huge connections to the university. But power corrupts. Here, where power was reigning supreme, it corrupted faster. The competition was so intense that those who were never part of it could not even imagine.
