Sophia was running late. She took the shortcut and entered through backgate. One of the perks she rarely used was her universal entry pass which actually allowed her to enter any building or hall or room within the campus. Just because they gave you the keep to home, doesn't mean you forget your role as guest and turn into host.
Sophia was cursing David Santana under her breath. "Stupid, imbecile child!" Her vocabulary had changed a lot after her rebirth. She rarely used redact worthy swear words though she had a whole book of them, under many languages.
David, the snitch, had not just passed the news about Original Sin to Lisa but he had absconded later on. And he had the nerve to come back a day later to beg forgiveness.
That was lame excuse. He wanted Sophia's help. He was worried that his cushioned job in the new building would evaporate even before the building got launched. He wanted some last minute debugging.
