"What happened? Tell me!" Shirley asked in hurried manner as if she suddenly realised her manager would not call her during holiday break unless there was a dire situation.
Suzy Mae, the manager, tried to placate her. "It's not bad actually. Someone said you would attend Golden Bell awards this year."
Shirley scoffed. "Don't be ridiculous. Why would I go there when Sienna herself is not going? Why would someone spread such nonsense?"
"Ah, about that!" Suzy Mae ventured slowly. " The management wants both of you to attend the awards ceremony."
"What??? Suzy, are you kidding me? I am on holiday. Sienna is enjoying her much needed break time. On top of it, you want us besties go attend the awards ceremony with such short notice. You think we can get show ready in such short time and not get embarassed there?"
