Chapter 3 - Incagement

After a while jex ears started to be able to hear noises.

His senses were so sharp that he could hear the faint sound of water running down the wall.

What he needed most for his survival now was a sip of water.

He really felt like he could sell his soul to the devil just for a sip of water.

"Yessirrrr!"

His mouth was dry and cracked like a dry paddy field, and his upper and lower lips were glued together but the joy from the sense of liquid brought joy to jex.

If he had time to spare, he would have studied how to slowly revive his muscles, but unfortunately he didn't have much time left.

If he keeps on waiting like this, he will soon run out of breath.

He had to move before that. Jex began desperately crawling towards the place where he could hear the sound of the running water.

He wriggled like a snake and advanced a little. His jaw was bleeding from the pain moving toward he hit a wall and then

His tongue touched the wall.A refreshing feeling on the tongue.

It was water.

jex drank the water like he never tasted liquid before in his life he felt much pain due to the cure all over his mouth but he kept drinking.

Justin blanked out.

Both of his legs were trembling, and cold sweat flowed down like a waterfall from his body. All the water he drank a while ago seemed to be drained out as sweat. From the heat and humidity from air if such a high density but he finally stood on 2 feet.

Even though he had been here for quite a while, his eyes still did not adapt to the darkness.

In the end, Pyo-wol gave up looking with his eyes. Instead, he reached out and touched the wall in front of him.The walls were slippery for a long time.

"is this moss? Is this even edible" jex was unsure but due to his situation he ate that shit.

jex has finally been restored able to use his limbs like before move and walk he walked around the entire room with his hands to the wall and came to the realization he was in a massive cell.  Days went by and jex survived off moss and water until.

On the 12th day Jex was sitting down in silence thinking until he heard a loud metal thud from the bottom there was a very bright light blinding his eyes. jex uttered "HELLO? IS SOMEONE THERE?" Quicky the metal door where the light came from he saw a hand with a bowl the food was thrown on the floor and the mini door was quickly closed.

Jex picked up the food He couldn't fathom that such an expansive underground space could exist solely for him. The sheer effort and resources required to create it hinted at something far beyond an individual's whim or obsession.

The presence of various foods, each showing signs of consumption by different individuals, suggested a group effort. The differing levels of spoilage indicated staggered consumption times, implying multiple occupants over time. The abundance of food exceeded what one or two people could possibly consume.

Moreover, the distinct scents lingering on each food item hinted at the presence of multiple individuals. The realization dawned on him that he wasn't alone in this mysterious underground chamber.

If there were five kinds of food there was a high probability that five or more people ate it. Plus the different degrees of spoilage in each food meant that the time they were eaten was different. This meant that several people ate at a time lag. The amount offered was too much for one or two people to eat.

Above all each food contained the scent of a different person.

It was this realization that made jexchronx realize he was in some sort of dungeon or prison and what he was eating was leftover's of the guards or workers scraps and that there must be others here.

Those who locked us up would have made this place for some purpose. The problem is what could possibly be their purpose?
