My mind was full of Finn, mewling his name whenever I felt him fill me. Any little movement made me tremble as I clung to him, feeling him twitch within me. My legs were jittery, yet he held me close, stabilizing me.
I had lost count of how many times we had reached our peaks. However, kissing him never felt like it was enough. Saliva dripped down our chins when he tugged away from my lips and gazed to his side.
My breath was short, yet I still found myself with that thin white shirt on. However, my sweat had made it stick to my skin, leaving little to the imagination.
"Are you okay, baby girl?" Finn breathed, pulling me closer.
I could feel our union dripping out of me and onto his heat that pulsated within me. No matter how many times he filled me, he never ran out.
An immortal dragon, holding a small human girl like she's made of glass. You really do care about me. No, you…
"I'm fine," I mumbled, holding myself close to him.
His shirt was also sticking to him. Luckily, his pants were still up.
"Your voice is all raspy again. Will we ever get it back to normal?" He sighed, letting me down.
The moment my feet touched the floor, I leaned into him, unable to hold myself up.
"My legs are mushy again." I huffed, using him as my stabilizer.
"Are you full of me now?" he teased, kissing my forehead.
"Never," I mumbled, feeling my lower abdomen warm.
"Ah, what I'm going to do with you?" He breathed, leaning toward me.
A soft giggle left me when he continued to trail kisses down my cheek. However, we were interrupted when…
"M'lord, I know you're busy, but the barrier status changed." Rizak suddenly warped into the room.
In an instant, I was surrounded by Finn's grey cloak, which covered every of my lady bits.
"Yes, I know, it's crashing already." The demon king sighed, leaving me stunned where I was.
"Wait, what?" I mumbled, snuggling myself into his cloak.
The barrier appeared weak, but there were no signs of it shattering when our encounter began.
Then again, I don't know a single thing that's happening.
"Hey, this wasn't your fault. The barrier was already weak. It was a matter of time before it…" Finn trailed off, triggering me to wince.
His fingertips traced my cheek, making me lean into him.
Even though you say… that I…
"So, I broke it more?" I bit my lip as there was no denying that my performance in that cave had caused mayhem in Traedan.
Soren… did you know before I let me go?
"The generals want to speak with you," Brielle informed, startling me.
When did she?! No, focus!
"Right," Finn shook his head, eyes hinting at red before shifting them to me. "Are you comfortable waiting in the room?"
I don't …. No! Not again!
"No! I don't want to be apart from you! Or do you want a repeat of this?" I huffed, crossing my arms.
"Hah, no, sweets. I was just wondering if you..." He paused, relaxing his stance. "Look, I will punish Astred, and it won't be pretty. Are you sure you want to see that?" He sighed, shifting his gaze towards her.
The moment his eyes landed on her, malice was all I could feel as hers dilated, turning into a tiny ball.
Ah… is that how I looked to Dad?
The binds were still digging into her, yet something caused me to grab Finn's arm, preventing him from going through with his punishment.
This woman hurt me, but I had beaten her at her game. There was no reason for her to be eternally punished. After all, I was still alive and relatively unharmed.
"No, Finn, I think she's done," I announced, although my voice was lackluster.
I need some water.
"What?" Finn questioned as I cleared my throat.
"She knows you're mine, and that's enough for me," I answered, turning to her.
She was this little pitiful thing compared to when she captured me.
I don't have it in me to bury my enemies, but maybe that's fine.
"No, she deserves to be crushed." He growled, shimmering a light hue of red.
Tugging him back to me, I smirked. "My beloved king, she's defeated. Not physically, but emotionally. She no longer has power over me or you."
My words triggered Finn to watch me as I shifted back to her. The anger I had before wasn't even present anymore, and I felt accomplished. After all, she knew the demon king was mine as his seeds were still dripping down my legs.
Even though she couldn't see because of the cloak, I had his scent imprinted on me.
"You won't mess with me anymore. Will you?" I kneeled to her level.
She quickly shook her head with teary eyes.
It's a façade, but at least you know I'm not joking around anymore.
Replacing her at this pivotal point would also come with their consequences. The generals were well-loved within their domains, even if Finn didn't care about it. I had seen it with her minions before, and the last thing we needed was a part of Fathal becoming hostile to us.
"Good. If you do it again, I can't promise what my future husband will do to you. Understood?" I smirked, unable to feel filled by having all the power in my hand and not just anyone.
No, it was over someone who had tried to walk over me. Seeing her submit was the only thing I desired, and with a simple nod from her, it was all I needed.
"Did she just say?" Brielle gasped, covering her mouth as Rizak hummed.
"Don't celebrate; she refuses to marry me before the curse is lifted." Finn chuckled as I turned to him before pointing down to Astred.
"Please, let her go." I requested, triggering the demon king to shrug.
A heavy sigh left his lips, "As you wish, sweetheart."
With a snap of his fingers, she was free of all bindings, leaving her gripping onto her arms, shivering where she was.
"If it were up to me, you'd be, well, you know. So, be grateful my queen is merciful." He growled, tugging me close with his tail.
The place I always felt safest was with him.
"Thank you for the mercy, m'lady!" Astred bowed to us.
Her eyes were focused on me, prompting Finn to click his tongue and pull me closer. His sudden approach allowed me to bask in his warmth again, which left me feeling smug about everything.
"Don't get me wrong. The only reason I don't want you gone is because you'd be annoying to replace." I huffed, holding myself in place.
She smiled softly, "Well, I promise to serve you well, Sylvia."
Uh, why's that giving me the icks?
"Summon the others. My wife tamed the succubi." Finn declared, triggering me to turn to him.
"Why does that sound like we're married already?! I—" I started, only to be met by his lips on mine.
A short, passionate kiss followed, prompting my legs to feel like jelly again.
"Hush, I let you have your fun. Now let me have this." He chuckled, trailing his thumb down my cheeks.
I can never win against you.
Sitting down where Solas was, I felt empowered for the first time I got there. In my hands, there was a soft cup of tea to soothe my throat before I was again next to Finn, surrounded by the most powerful demons in Fathal.
Rizak and Brielle were also in the room with us this time, as the situation appeared dire at best. The demon lord stood before the map as my presence was anything but necessary. The barrier-breaking wasn't unexpected, but it was deteriorating rapidly, thanks to my outburst in Traedan.
These changes made my reappearance secondary as arguments broke out between them. The human response to the barrier failing was unexpected. It seemed they had been hunting lower demons to create a potion they had to drink every fifteen minutes to prevent the miasma curse from grabbing them.
I guess they realized a demon's fluids stopped them from turning, but that doesn't mean their supply was endless.
The generals never knew why they were hunting them until the barrier fell. This entire time, the humans and elves had been gathering medicine supplies to fight the poisonous haze. It was similar to the potion they used the day they ventured into Fathal.
They were using demon blood and organs for it, which left me feeling conflicted. Even though these demons quickly condemned the humans, it wasn't much different from their farms.
Everyone is trying hard to survive, and no end is in sight.
The barrier was shattering, but it was far from done. However, miasma was getting into Traeden, making the border inhospitable. Obviously, they didn't have options for everyone who needed them, as a smaller and stronger barrier went up around the surrounding capital of Traedan.
Sadly, it wasn't big enough for all the population, which meant the moment the curse enclosed more, it would be time for a final confrontation. While this went on, I felt strangely at peace as my mind became more evident with each moment that passed.
A massive extinction event was happening before my eyes, yet I felt strangely at peace. This was good news for the demons in the short term. With the barrier down, more food was around the demons, but the quantity gradually decreased. This meant Sebastian's human farms would be the primary way for everyone to feed, giving him power over his fellow.
Yet, for some reason, Finn wasn't worried about that. He didn't care about what the humans faced either; to him and many of the demons in this room, this was their judgment time. They were all going the self-destruction route—something I wanted to stop, but my energy was already waning.
My eyes were heavy because of everything I had done with Finn.
Ah… I can't keep up with you. Damn it, I need to stay awake, but it's hard.
None of the demon generals were paying attention to me. Rizak was beside me, hearing the gathering.
"It won't be enough time." He mumbled under his breath, leaving me feeling responsible for what was happening.
There was no denying that I had sent everyone into chaos.
No wonder that blue-haired elf wanted to murder me. Did you know that, too, Soren?
Vabaru was quiet while Vorex was contemplating all the changes to his food. He was happy about being able to hunt them freely, but they all knew that was temporary. I didn't notice when I started to drift off.
Snuggling myself into the chair, I closed my eyes, feeling peace in a room full of monsters. Yet, to me, none of them was one. Even Astred was a woman who was acting out because of her feelings.
These demons are more human than humans. Ironic.
"Sylvia," Finn voiced, triggering my eyes to fly open as he grabbed one of my hands.
There, I witnessed my body radiating a gentle silver light. There wasn't anything malicious about it, yet they all looked at me, puzzled. The light quickly dimmed, freeing me from the event as I sat up.
"What did I do now?" I mumbled, grasping the demon king's cloak as they all observed me.
"Nesting? Can her emotions and magic be unstable because…." Rizak trailed off, eyes shimmering, which triggered shivers that ran down my spine.
Huh? Why… is that look… You've never looked at me like that.
Brielle was ready to draw her blade before stepping between me and her cousin, whose blue eyes were flooded with red.
