Gwendolyn paced the confines of the shack with her mind spunning. She had no idea how long she had been a prisoner. It felt like days, but it could have been hours. Time seemed to stand still in the dark, musty shack.
Terrified and alone, her only companions were the darkness and her own thoughts. Trapped with no way out, fear and anxiety built up inside her, threatening to consume her.
She had tried everything she could think of to escape, but the shack was impenetrable. She was trapped, and there was nothing she could do.
As the hours passed, Gwendolyn began to lose hope. Weak and exhausted, her body shaking from the cold. She could barely keep her eyes open, and her thoughts became more and more incoherent.
She collapsed, her body exhausted and her mind numb. She drifted in and out of consciousness, the darkness surrounding her. She didn't know if she would ever see the light of day again.
