Primordial Time – 150,000 Era, 4.2 million years [each Era is 100 million years]
Planet Zeus, Central Region, Sun-Moon Palace is the place where the Dao Emperor, Aurelius, resides. He stands at the very peak of the world, overlooking the universe.
Aurelius, sitting in his chair, was reading all the documents regarding the governance of the universe. As he was reading, he heard a knock on the door. Knowing it was Alfred, Aurelius asked him to come in.
Alfred, in his butler suit, came inside and gently closed the door. He looked towards Aurelius with respect and said, "Master, we have observed hidden movements from Kali, the Evil Emperor."
Aurelius, who didn't even lift his head when his butler came in, stopped everything he was doing and raised his head with a serious face and asked, "What happened?"
Understanding the seriousness, Alfred replied, "Master, all the chaos beings in the universe suddenly disappeared from our surveillance, and all the spies on Planet Hades stopped responding, presumably dead."
Aurelius frowned and slowly got up from his seat, thinking about the situation. He walked towards the window and looked in the direction of Planet Hades and said, "Kali, what are you up to? Did you really succumb to the outsider? Or did something happen?"
"Did what Master predicted come true?"
Primordial Time – 150,000 Era, 4.5 million years
Aurelius, leaning on his desk, asked his butler, "Any news?"
Alfred replied, "Master, all the people sent to Planet Hades mysteriously disappeared and stopped contacting us. Planet Hades is surrounded by a Heaven-Earth Runic Formation, allowing only beings at the Primordial Realm and below to enter. No being in the Chaos Realm can enter."
Aurelius nodded. "I understand that more than anyone. Only a Dao Ancestor Realm powerhouse can forcefully break open the formation. My master has already left the universe, and now there are no Dao Ancestor Realm beings."
As Aurelius and Alfred were discussing, Aurelius suddenly sensed a being approaching Planet Zeus. Sensing the aura and recognizing that Kali was coming, Aurelius suddenly vanished.
Alfred, sensing the situation, pressed a side button on his watch-like gadget. The words "Code - Red" appeared on the watch, and the message was sent to all the 12 generals, 4 dukes, and 9 ancient families.
Aurelius arrived in outer space. Sensing Aurelius, Kali unleashed a spiritual attack. Aurelius, sensing this, also unleashed a spiritual attack.
In the vast expanse of space, where darkness had reigned for ages, a sudden spiritual energy from two beings split the void into two.
Then, the clash erupted in a cataclysmic instant. The impact released energy so immense that it shattered nearby celestial bodies. Stars exploded in supernovas, and planets were destroyed, their fragments flung into the abyss.
This apocalyptic event resulted from a soul clash between two powerful figures from opposing factions, destroying and creating a new, eerie reality in the cosmos.
The two figures faced each other, the air thick with tension. Aurelius, the Dao Emperor, stared at Kali, the Evil Emperor. The eyes of Kali, which were once alive and playful, now looked vacant, showing a mix of sadness and pain. Finally, he spoke, his voice resonating through the void. "Did you finally succumb to the outsider?"
Kali, with vacant eyes, sneered at Aurelius and said, "What do you mean succumbed, Aurelius? I am enlightened. Since the previous Dao Ancestor, your master, ended the Chaos Era, all chaotic beings have lost their advantage. The heavens now favor humans, who are nothing but ants, born to worship us."
Aurelius didn't get angry; he knew the words were not from his friend. Instead, he calmly replied, "That doesn't give you the right to contact beings from outside the universe. All they care about is the source of the universe. If they gain control, every civilization and every living being will perish."
Kali laughed menacingly and replied, "What does that matter to me? Since the new era began, this universe has become more like a cage than a home. Wouldn't it be better to destroy the cage and be free?"
Aurelius implored, "Come to your senses, Kali. Even though chaos beings and we—humans, beasts, and other races—have our differences, we were all born here. This is our home. Do you really need to ally with outsiders for an unimaginable future?"
Kali looked at him coldly and said, "We were the first beings born in this universe, the children of the cosmos. We ruled from the beginning of the Chaos Era and swore to protect this universe. But now, the mother we swore to protect has abandoned us, creating you humans and other creatures. You humans began to understand the way of the Dao, disrupted the balance, and sought to become masters. Due to your Dao Ancestor, humans now reign supreme."
The Evil Emperor's anger grew, and his aura intensified. "NOW, the rules have changed. Chaos beings have no place in this universe. Do you understand how it feels to be unable to advance, stuck forever? Even your master left the universe to further his cultivation, but no matter what methods we try, we see no future. The only solution is to break apart this cage that binds us."
The Evil Emperor finally said, "Remember my words, Aurelius, there's 'no place,' I mean 'no place,' in the world for you or me."
Aurelius's eyes showed a glint hearing his words, but he covered that up and stared at the Evil Emperor for a long time, contemplating their predicament. Finally, he sighed and said, "We have different opinions, but I can't let the universe burn because of your ambition. Let's meet with our armies and settle this once and for all."

The Dao Emperor looked at the woman—Sarah—with love and pain in his eyes. "Take the planet to the lower realms and ensure it is sealed," he said. "There will come a time in the future when the seal will be broken, and a person will be born to kill it."
The woman gazed at him; her eyes filled with unspoken words. She knew the sacrifice he was making. She looked deeply into his eyes, trying to memorize every detail, tears streaming down her face as she left to honor his sacrifice.
The Dao Emperor watched her depart, then turned to the battlefield, where his friends and companions had given their lives to give him this chance. He knew the future, but he couldn't change it. With firm determination, he suddenly heard a sound.
Kali, breathing his last, turned to Aurelius. "So, this is the end. It happened as decreed?"
Aurelius looked at the dying Kali with sadness. "This was inevitable. If not you, then another would have taken your position, but thanks to your warning of 'no place,' we were able to finally seal him."
Hearing this, Kali replied, "I know I can depend on you, my friend. If not for you, I wouldn't have been able to make that decision." As he said this, he took his last breath. The Dao Emperor gently closed his eyes. "Rest in peace, my friend."
The Dao Emperor began to remember the past, where he and Kali used to roam the universe, conquer the world with their strength, and had a good friendship bond. But Aurelius shook his head. "Everything could have been prevented if only..."
Remembering everything and the sacrifices, Aurelius's eyes turned red. Determination flashed in his eyes, then he took out a scroll from his ring. The scroll contained a technique called Timeless Obsession. Seeing the technique, Aurelius remembered the time he discovered it in the ruin.
According to the technique, Aurelius burned his cultivation bases and then his body and finally his soul to create an obsession echo. The obsession echo broke through space-time and traveled to its destination.
Now just a sliver of his soul remained. Aurelius, due to his imminent death, could see changes in the heavens. The timeline seemed frozen, neither moving forward nor backward, as if even time was waiting for his decision.
Aurelius looked at it. "I hope all the preparations I have made can change my past and give rise to a better future."
