The giant assassin stood over Xenia's lifeless body, a mix of frustration and rage brewing within him. His mission was to capture her, but he had also harbored dark, twisted desires.

Her unexpected death had utterly ruined those vile intentions. This left him simmering with unfulfilled lust and anger.

He clenched his fists, the muscles in his arms tensing as he struggled to contain his rage. "Damn you," he muttered under his breath, his voice a low growl.

The thought of having his way with her, of asserting his dominance, had been a perverse motivation alongside his orders. Now, all of it was denied to him.

The reality of her lifeless form only intensified his frustration. The power he had wielded to bring her down, the thrill of the chase, all now felt empty and hollow.

His eyes glared down at Xenia's serene face, and a bitter scowl twisted his features.

With a grunt of anger, he knew he had to report back.

He pulled out an enchanted mirror from his cloak. Then, muttered an incantation. The surface of the mirror shimmered, and an image of Malvina appeared.

"It's done," he said tersely. "But, you didn't say she would be troublesome, Malvina. She killed herself before I could have my way with her."

Malvina rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Minu, your main job was to bring her in. Not f*ck her. Killing her was a secondary option. However, you made her kill herself… Ugh, just dispose of the body. Make sure it cannot be found," she says and immediately cuts the connection to the magic mirror.

"B*tch, you never let me have fun in the first place!!! If I had it my way, your small ass would be slobbering on my d*ck right now, you jealous psycho whore," the giant man yells back at the blacked out mirror. He angrily gathered Xenia's body, lifting her effortlessly.

The moonlight cast eerie shadows as he quickly made his way through the town and out. Managing to complete traveling heading toward an open field about thirty minutes away from their initial battle location.

The journey was a bit silent, the only sounds being the occasional rustle of leaves and the distant hoot of an owl. His mind churned with the bitterness of his unfulfilled desires, the anger seething just beneath the surface. Upon reaching the field, he looked around, ensuring no one was watching. The field was vast and empty, the perfect place to leave her body.

He laid Xenia's body down gently on the grass, her features pale and serene in the moonlight. Without a word, he turned and walked away, the shadows swallowing his massive form. His mission had taken an unexpected turn, but he had a job to complete.

As Xenia Kitsura's body lay lifeless on the ground, the pendant around her neck began to glow with an intense, ethereal light. The system, having detected the purity of the body's bloodline, initiated a process unlike any other.

[Initiating Forbidden Spell: Divine Soul Body Assimilation.]

[Transporting host body to secure location for assimilation.]

Xenia's body started to disintegrate, particles of her being lifted and carried away as if by an unseen force. She was whisked away from the field she was currently in and transported to a remote area deep within the mountains and forests at an unknown location. The particles reassembled, laying her body gently on a bed of moss in a secluded clearing.

[The process will begin shortly. Stand by.] the system announced.

Clouds began forming in the sky, dark and ominous, blocking out the moon for miles around. The forest grew eerily silent, animals and birds retreating from the strange phenomenon.

Xenia's body floated into the air, surrounded by a radiant pink and golden glow. The pendant around her neck glowed blindingly until the crystal within it cracked open.

From the crack, a stream of pure golden light erupted, rapidly expanding into a giant sphere about a mile in circumference. This was none other than the soul essence of Xenia Tsukuyomi, the first Kitsune, containing all her memories, personality, and divine power.

Two enormous golden magic arrays appeared, one on the ground and the other beneath the clouds, each stretching for miles.

Shooting up from these arrays, golden chains sprang forth, reaching towards the giant sphere and Xenia Kitsura's body. The chains connected the two, pulsing with intense energy as they gathered mana and qi from the surrounding area.

The assimilation process began. Xenia Kitsura's body ascended into the giant sphere, bathed in the golden light of Tsukuyomi's soul essence. The forbidden spell rapidly healed her injuries, merging and assimilating Tsukuyomi's divine soul into her body.

This process was designed to create a perfect union, allowing Tsukuyomi's soul to inhabit Xenia Kitsura's body as though it had always been hers. It was not just reincarnation; it was a seamless transfer of a divine soul into a new, flawless vessel.

[Perfect assimilation of the Host's Divine Soul with descendant's body commencing.]

[The Host will be reborn in the body of her descendant, Xenia Kitsura.]

Suddenly, a giant fist appeared out of nowhere, smashing into the magic array. The array trembled from the impact, but held steady. The fist reared back for another punch, but before it could strike, a streak of white light flashed through it, shattering it like glass.

(The Realm of Backwards Forwards)

In a twisted realm where everything defied logic and reason, the sky was the ground, and the ground was the sky. The landscape was a nightmarish inversion of reality, with jagged mountains hanging upside down and rivers of molten lava flowing above. The sky, an endless abyss, was dotted with eerie, glowing orbs that cast a sickly light over the land.

The creatures in this realm were grotesque and nightmarish. What should have been small and harmless, like deer and gerbils, were now monstrous and predatory, their forms twisted and grotesque.

They prowled the land with an insatiable hunger, preying on beings that should have been their predators. Gigantic insects with razor-sharp mandibles and serpents with multiple heads roamed freely, creating an atmosphere of perpetual dread.

In the heart of this twisted landscape stood a bizarre castle, where the very architecture seemed to mock the natural order.

Chairs and posters were used as bricks on the outside, and the interior walls resembled the exterior of a traditional castle. The windows were mirrors that reflected not the inside but the outside world, adding to the disorienting nature of the place.

Inside this castle, a being of immense power and madness resided. This being's form was a shifting amalgamation of features, making it impossible to determine its true nature. Sometimes it appeared as a man, other times a woman, and often as a grotesque blend of both. Its eyes were a swirling vortex of chaos, reflecting its fractured mind.

The being sat—or perhaps stood—on an upside-down chair, its presence exuding an aura of malevolence and instability. It seethed and raged, throwing balls of blood-red energy around the chaotic room, further ruining the already destroyed decor.

"Now tsomla dah I!" it screamed, the words twisted and incomprehensible.

"You thing, you bitch, you… YOUUUUUU… want to go against me? The Unsanctified Father will empower me. I must kill, kill, kill!!"

The being's voice reverberated through the twisted castle, a cacophony of rage and frustration. Its form twisted and contorted, reflecting the turmoil within.

The chaotic energy it exuded caused the walls to crack and the very air to shimmer with malevolence. Red eyes burned with hatred as it hurled balls of blood-red energy, further destroying its surroundings in a fit of uncontrollable anger.

In the shadows, two attendants stood silently, watching their leader's irrational outburst with irritation.

"Again with this nonsense," one of them muttered, a tall figure with elongated limbs and a face partially hidden behind a dark hood. Faintly, one could discern a red metal-like material coating its hands and it held onto a double-sided spear.

"How long must we endure these tantrums?"

The other, being a bit taller with a snake-like tail and sharp, glowing yellow eyes, sighed deeply. "The Unsanctified Father chose this one for a reason, but I'm beginning to question his judgment."

They exchanged a weary glance as the leader continued its rampage, the room growing increasingly unstable with each violent outburst.

"Do you think he even realizes how much damage it's causing?" the taller attendant asked, his voice clearly laced with disdain as he looked around at the mess being made.

"Of course not," the snake-tailed one replied. "He's too consumed by his own madness and lust for power. We're the ones who have to clean up this mess."

They stood in silence, the only sound being the ongoing destruction and the leader's frenzied screams. Their patience was wearing thin, but they knew better than to voice their grievances aloud. In this twisted realm, dissent was a dangerous game.

A loud, rumbling sound emanated throughout the area, causing the leader to immediately quiet down. A calm, malicious glint appeared in its eyes as it whispered to itself, plotting its next move.

Back in the forest, the forbidden spell continued. The golden chains pulsed with an even brighter light, the energy intensifying. The surrounding area was now engulfed in a swirling vortex of mana and qi, the very essence of the world being drawn into the ritual.

Xenia Kitsura's body began to glow more intensely, the wounds on her skin healing at an accelerated rate. The forbidden spell was not just healing her; it was transforming her. The merging of Tsukuyomi's divine soul essence with Xenia's body was creating a new, powerful entity.

As the assimilation reached its climax, the sky above the clearing split open, revealing a glimpse of a realm. It's a realm not even Tsukuyomi herself reached nor knew of. A torrent of divine energy poured down, merging with the golden sphere. The light was blinding, and the power emanating from the ritual was palpable.

Inside the sphere, Tsukuyomi's soul essence intertwined with Xenia's body, their energies merging seamlessly. Memories, knowledge, and power flowed from the ancient Kitsune goddess into her descendant.

[This is the culmination, Host] the system declares, its mechanical voice broadcasted to the world.

The chains pulsed one last time, sending a torrent of energy that bulged as they traveled up and down the chains towards the sphere to began condensation, shrinking in size until it was absorbed entirely into Xenia Kitsura's body. Her form glowed with a golden aura, the power of a goddess now residing within her.

As the forbidden spell completed, the body gently floated back to the ground, lying peacefully among the moss. The golden arrays faded away, the clouds dispersed, and the forest slowly returned to its natural state with whatever life forms continuing their activities.

[Assimilation complete]

[The Host, Xenia Tsukuyomi, has successfully assimilated into the body of Xenia Kitsura.]

Tsukuyomi's eyes fluttered open some time later, her gaze sharp and clear. She could feel the immense power coursing through her veins, the knowledge and memories of her past life now a part of her. She was no longer just Xenia Tsukuyomi; she was Xenia Kitsura, a mortal turned goddess.

She stood up with movements graceful and confident. The pendant around her neck glowed softly. The world around her seemed different, more vibrant and full of potential than she previously remembered. However, the mana and qi within the air was a bit sparse.

As she took her first steps in this new form, she felt a sense of life and renewal.

The ground around her began to shake, signaling that the ritual had drawn significant attention. Tsukuyomi looked around, her senses heightened. She could feel the presence of powerful mortal beings approaching, drawn by the immense energy released during the assimilation.

"Fools! They dare to attack a goddess," Tsukuyomi says aloud to herself, almost questioning.

"Tch, there will always be those who seek to challenge me, to test my strength."

She noticed that her senses were sharper, her mind clearer, and her body more perfected than ever before. She could feel every one of her descendants throughout the world of Terra. They too could sense her but were not aware of her existence.

The merging of her soul with the body of her descendant had been successful, and she was practically her old self again, albeit stronger than her last self.

'I wonder what other bloodline my descendant has that allowed for such rapid growth in healing. The bod's physique is practically twice as strong as before. These small amounts of strange cells must be the cause. People in this world just rely on magic and their science is far behind compared to earth. Even after a million years, nothing has actually changed according to my descendant's memories.

This is unlike any evolution of civilizations. Not to mention an entire planet with the capabilities to defy and push science past its current boundaries. I'll find out what caused this stagnation in development,' Xenia quickly thinks to herself, her divine mental power and cognition coming into play as she realized something else entirely is happening.

While in her thoughts, the laws of Holy Terra were strict and unyielding. Terra's will did not allow Xenia's reincarnation to happen without any punishment.

Though it recognized Xenia's existence, it also detected that she had regained her power through forbidden means.

Almost immediately, an invisible force enveloped her, trapping and sealing away her divinity.

The divine energy that had once been a part of her was now locked away, leaving her mortal, albeit an extremely gifted one.

"I'll have to start over," she murmured to herself, sighing after feeling the weight of her divinity being lost.

Despite this setback, she retained the ability to cast spells wordlessly. It was a small consolation that Terra allowed to stay as it was quite invaluable in the times to come.

She could now perfectly sense the aura of the powerful beings rushing toward her location, likely drawn by the massive energy release from the forbidden spell.

Quickly, she cast an illusion on herself, appearing as a beaten-up young woman with a broken arm and lies on the ground. Her appearance was convincing, down to the bruises and blood.

Moments later, the beings arrived. They were high-ranking officers from the Kingdom of Nyx, formidable figures clad in gleaming armor and exuding an aura of authority and power.

'Well, at least I don't have to travel anymore. The system most likely placed me here.'

Among them, Xenia recognized Commander Whitlock, a stern and imposing man she remembered from Xenia Kitsura's memories.

"Who is she?" one of the officers, a tall man with a scar across his face, asked, his voice filled with suspicion.

Commander Whitlock stepped forward, his sharp eyes scanning Xenia's illusionary form. "She appears to be a young Elementalist Mage, judging by her aura," he said, his tone thoughtful. "But, she is severely injured. Something or someone much more powerful must have been here."

The woman officer, a fierce-looking woman with short, cropped hair and piercing green eyes, knelt beside Xenia. "She's in bad shape," she remarked, her voice laced with concern. "We can't leave her here."

One of the other officers, a burly man with a booming voice, scoffed. "She's just an Elementalist Mage. Hardly worth our attention. We have more important matters to attend to."

The woman shot him a sharp look. "Elementalist or not, she's clearly been through something terrible. We can't just abandon her. And she must be a citizen of our kingdom."

Commander Whitlock nodded in agreement. "Lysa's right. Besides, the girl must be quite a prodigy to have reached the Elementalist Mage stage at such a young age. She could be of use to us."

Another officer, a lean man with a calculating gaze, chimed in. "What if she saw what happened here? She might have information we need."

The woman officer gently lifted Xenia's illusionary form. "We'll take her with us. If nothing else, we can ensure she's safe and see if she has any useful information."

The officers exchanged glances, some hesitant, others indifferent, but they ultimately agreed. The woman officer carefully picked up Xenia, cradling her gently. "Let's move out," Commander Whitlock ordered. "We need to get back to the frontline."

As they took to the skies, flying toward the distant battlefield, she allowed herself a small, satisfied smile. Xenia had successfully deceived them and avoided immediate suspicion. She was now in a position to gather more information and gradually increase in power.
