Chereads / His Cruel Lady / Chapter 2 - Meet the Mastermind

Chapter 2 - Meet the Mastermind

Arohi Mathur, the mysterious CEO of Mathur Industries, was the one from whom Rajan wanted to acquire the orphanage land. Each time, she thwarted his attempts to take over the land.

Later, Rajan discovered that Arohi owned the land and would do anything for the orphanage and its residents. To coerce her, he had one of the children kidnapped and planned to blackmail her into giving up the land.

Manu's hands trembled. He had heard about this woman's cruelty from his group, but now, standing in front of his foolish boss Rajan, he realized Rajan was trying to mess with Arohi Mathur. Manu knew who Arohi was and what she was capable of.

Rajan laughed and said, "You've come. I knew you would rush over as soon as you saw the orphanage child in trouble, without any security. Now watch how I make you transfer the land to me."

"Manu, take this girl captive and if she makes any trouble, pour cold water over the child," Rajan said, using the shivering child to threaten Arohi, directing Manu.

Seeing Manu motionless, Rajan looked at him. Manu's face had turned pale. Just hearing Arohi's name terrified him. He was the most capable person here but was now scared as if he had seen a ghost.

Rajan, seeing him frozen, yelled and ordered, "What's wrong, Manu? Why aren't you doing anything? I told you to capture her. And the rest of you, take the child away... quickly."

No one moved because Manu was their leader, and with him inactive, they were unsure what to do next.

Manu looked at Arohi, lowered his head, and said in a frightened voice, "Sorry, ma'am, I didn't know it was you."

Rajan looked at Manu in shock, unable to understand why he was apologizing to Arohi and why none of his men were following his orders. What was happening?

Arohi smiled slyly. The scene in front of her seemed cartoonish.

Realized these men were no longer loyal to him, Rajan was really embarassed.

Seeing Arohi's smile, Rajan was enraged because not only were his men disobeying him, but this was happening right in front of Arohi Mathur. His own men had exposed his name to her.

"What's happening? Why aren't you capturing this girl?" Rajan shouted in frustration.

Arohi, with her sly smile, said, "Don't worry, Rajan, I'll explain what's happening here."

She walked over to Manu and ordered, "Tell your men to send Golu back to the orphanage and tie Rajan up with a rope immediately."

"Okay, boss," Manu said, instructing one of his men to take Golu back to the orphanage and tying Rajan to a pillar.

Rajan watched in shock as this unfolded. He couldn't understand why his men were obeying Arohi. He struggled to free himself.

"Let me go! What nonsense is this? You're my men; how can you follow this woman's orders?" Rajan shouted, trying to free himself.

Arohi looked at Manu, who understood her silent command and slapped Rajan hard.

Rajan, who had been shouting, fell silent with one slap. He stopped trying to free himself, and his face swelled up. Now he looked at the people in front of him with fearful eyes.

Arohi smiled and looked into Rajan's eyes, sarcastically saying, "Rajan Sisodia, you think you're so smart, but you're just a fool."

Rajan was incensed at being called a fool and glared at Arohi angrily.

Ignoring his glare, Arohi continued with a teasing smile, "Still don't get it? Only a fool depends on others for such tasks. Did you even check if these people were really yours? You have to At least listen to your secretary. He told you to bring more men, but you trusted Manu, or should I say Manveer Rana, who is actually is my man."

She looked around at everyone and said to Rajan, "Unfortunately, these men have been following my orders from the start, making a fool out of you."

Hearing Arohi's words and the name "Manveer Rana," Rajan's eyes widened. He was a member of the well-known ABC assassination group, an internationally famous group, and a few years ago, Manveer had come to India. Rajan was shocked to learn that this assassination group was under Arohi. Could a woman really do this? Had she fooled him? Did he make a huge mistake by messing with her?

He looked at Manu with fear on his face. Manu seemed a bit guilty as he pointed a gun at his boss.

"Sorry, boss, I was told your name, but I had never seen you, so I made a mistake by aiming at you," Manu said.

Arohi looked at Manu seriously and said, "It's okay. Right now, it's more important to teach Rajan a lesson, so focus on that."

With Arohi's command, Manu put aside his guilt and got serious, ready to teach Rajan a lesson.

Rajan was stunned. He had been warned to be cautious of Arohi, but his stubbornness had prevailed. He never listened to anyone and had underestimated Arohi due to his arrogance and male ego.

Stammering with fear, Rajan said, "Look, I'm not afraid of you or these traitors! These traitors who followed your orders can't harm me, Rajan Sisodia. And you know my brother is a minister. Your goons can't mess with the government. You'll pay a heavy price for doing bad to me."

Arohi, with a devilish smile, said, "The same brother you've tried to kill several times because you want his position? I've also heard that you used his name to do several wrong doings. Do you think your brother will still support you after knowing this?"

Manu, praising his boss and dropping another bomb on Rajan, said, "Even if he goes against us, do you think the great CEO of Mathur Industries needs to worry about your minister brother?"

Rajan's eyes nearly popped out. Was this woman The mysterious CEO of Mathur Industries, one of the top 5 companies? Oh, his terrible luck! If he had known this, he wouldn't have dared to mess with Arohi. If only he had used his brain.

While Rajan was still processing this, he noticed a shadow near the window. It was aiming a gun at Arohi, about to fire.

Before Rajan could comprehend, a shot rang out, and for a moment, everything stopped.
