For those unfamiliar with the author's style of writing, he solely focuses on the main character's point of view and will only transition to another character based on the flow of the story. He will always use apostrophes whenever he writes someone's thoughts. An example being, 'I think this book deserves five stars.' Apart from that, he uses orthographic variations from the Oxford English Dictionary (OED). (i.e., Honour (British) vs. Honor (American)).
