Hearing the stakes climb higher, he realised it was thrilling.

After listening to Zoe and Nathan's explanation, Zane's thoughtful expression emerged as he pulled his head back. "I see; thank you for this information," Zane nodded.

He had gained a lot of personal information about Elias, which helped him solidify his previous assumption about him: He was a useless, good-for-nothing gigolo!

"$1,700!"

As the price rose, Zane spoke softly, "$2,100!" His firm voice thundered across the room, rendering everyone silent as they turned to look at him in astonishment.
