The yomigaeri' laughter rose like a mocking chorus in the night, their mirth echoing through the alleyway as the little girl's screams for her father fell on deaf ears.

"Daddy, save me!" she cried, her small hands clutching at her father's torn off arm shirt as she sobbed uncontrollably, her young mind unable to comprehend the horror unfolding before her.

The yomigaeri' continued their raucous laughter, their eyes glinting with the cold satisfaction of the hunt, oblivious to the child's heart-rending pleas.

Grit, still gripping the man in his hand, spoke in a voice that was dripping with malice.

"I guess I'll just have to keep him for myself," he said with a cruel chuckle, his eyes glinting with hunger.

"Who said you could keep him?" He growled, his words low and deadly.

Hawk and Grit, their claws sharp and their movements quick as lightning, wrestled for the dead man's body, each of them determined to claim their prize.
