"Move on, Ruthar," Logan muttered, pushing him to continue forward.
Ruthar quickly realized the situation—they weren't the ones who had been caught. Instead, it was a single delinquent boy standing before the librarian. Using this as a distraction, Logan and Ruthar rushed out of the library, taking the book unseen and shutting the door lightly behind them.
"Give me the book!" The librarian stretched over the counter, placing her hand out for the teenage boy to give her the book.
The boy stunned her with his stare. Up until now, she had been so busy yelling at him to notice the way he was staring at her; his reaction did not bode well in the slightest.
