Alric frowned, meeting Nora's gaze.
"The papers are yours!" She blinked. But if he had brought her here, he must have planned it. No?
As if he could read her mind, his frown grew deeper.
"You do not need to give up on anything to leave with me. I will handle them. I have more dirt on them than they could ever fathom." David flinched at his words. He glared at Alric and gritted his teeth.
"Mr Spencer, I advise you to choose your words wisely." David warned but as if Alric could not hear or see him. He kept staring at Nora as if waiting for her decision.
"You mean I can leave without giving up on my rights as the owner of the shares and properties. And if it will not affect your company or your position?" how could a smart girl like Nora not know that every action had their consequences?!
"Do you seriously believe.." David interfered but Nora did not look at him either. They both treated him as invincible.
