Penny sat on her seat and took out her worksheet. But her eyes were on Lisa and Linda. They have not said a word after what happened today. Penny's eyes narrowed at the page. She had asked the question from Nora and she was able to give it. She gives it in front of everyone.
For years, Nora had been doing her assignments silently and then wrote her notes too. She kept Nora busy to the limit that she never had the time to make her notes.
And then Penny had threatened her not to perform well in the exams and gain the limelight. The foolish girl has followed the command so far without a complaint. Who would have thought that she would refuse to do it in the last year! What changed?
