Every head in the class turned to look at Nora when she entered the classroom. A few were shocked while others mocked. A few of them stood up and went to greet her.
"You are finally back. How are you now?"
"I heard what Miss Megan did. I could not believe someone could be so vicious."
"But Nora, you gave a good reply. I heard that she was not given time to even pack her things when she was kicked out."
"And that man, he was sent to jail. You were so cool Nora."
Nora smiled at all of them. Her bright and clear eyes looked mesmerizing as they looked at her as if spellbound. A few boys blushed when she smiled at them.
Victor entered the class and walked straight to her. In front of everyone, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
