"Are you serious?" Kate held Penny's hands tightly "you could be in danger if you listen to them. We should inform your family or police. We can go to the principal too. What if the person had bad intentions?" Penny rolled her eyes. She wanted to curse this foolish girl in her heart.
Which blackmailer would have good intentions. But no, she needed Kate. She needed proof right now.
She hugged Kate tightly and shivered in her arms.
"Kate, I am scared too. But I have no choice. I will be back soon. It is only about money and I have a lot to spare." she patted Kate's shoulders as if she was passing her strength to Kate.
