A normal girl would not be able to hear Penny from the other side despite sitting too close. But Emma was different. She had been trained to be a spy and a future assassin all her life. She arched a brow at Nora.
"Hello.." Penny asked again when she did not hear a reply. Her voice was anxious. Perhaps, afraid that her identity was at stake. Nora noticed that she would cut the call if she did not get a satisfactory reply.
So, She ignored Emma.
"Hello, are you really Penny speaking?" Emma was stunned. Clearly, it was Nora who spoke. Yet she heard her own voice in the room. Her eyes widened with shock but Nora ignored her now.
"Aah! Yes. Do I know you?" Penny frowned on the other side.
"Hmm, I do not know. I am from section D. But recently I have shifted to your section." Emma's eyes narrowed as Nora even copied her style of speaking. The teasing and arrogance in her voice was copied just like that!
