Running down from the mountains was a boy, called Derin.
Derin: Yeahh. I am stronger than yesterday! (Smily face)
A random villager: Oii, Run a bit slower.
Derin: Ahh! Sorry sorry! See ya.
Passing through many stores, finally he reached his home.
Derin: I am home.
His Mom: Take a bath and be ready for dinner.
Derin: Yes Mom.
On the other side of the mountain, there was a cave, which no one dares to enter. Rumours has it that this cave can give something that will help you with your life. But in exchange it took a great price from the one.
From the cave, rises a demon, about 11 feet tall. It climbs to the top of the mountain and jump down to the village.
Derin who just finished bathing, sense something unusual. He hurried to the front door to see what it is. But he can't see what's wrong, so he thinks it maybe just his imagination.
There was a strong wind blowing towards the village. It was due to the impact of the demon that jumped down from the mountain. Before it can cause any harm to the village, a masked Man killed the demon by spitting it into half with a Katana.
Masked Man: That was a close call.
And then he walks to the river and look at the refection of the moon, and then cuts it. Then he left.
Derin's father just returned from the work.
Father: (Upon Entering) Phew, that was a strange wind. I am home.
Mother: Welcome back.
Derin: Father welcome back.
They are ready to take the dinner.
Thus a night pass by.
At the morning-
Stranger 1: Did you know what cause the strange and the sudden wind of yesterday.
Stranger 2: No! But there was some trees falling on the river. What in the world does this happen.
Another passer by:(somewhat loudly) It might be the demons of the Red...
Stranger 1: Heyy!! Sshh! Is it ok to mention it.
Passer by: Why not? But, we can't see it neither feel it. I am curious about it.
Stranger 2: Why don't you go to the cave to find out?
Passer by: Are you stupid?
Together: (laughing)
Stranger 1: But seriously this event is happening more often these 3 4 years.
What happened to the deity of the village who are supposed to protect the village?
Stranger 2: Don't say like that. Be grateful that you are unharmed.
Derin came running through.
Another Person: Heyy! Just walk slowly even for a day.
Derin: Ahh! Sorry sorry.
He reached the Village school. Then sits down on the 4th bench.
Derin: It's gonna be a amazing day!
Other classmates also came.
Izune: Derin, you are early as always.
Derin: It's my style.
They laugh.
Derin's father, Harumo was getting ready for his work. Yasuke's mother, Hima was preparing some lunch for Harumo.
Hima: Darling! Your lunch is on the table.
Harumo: Thank you Darling!
As Harumo leaves by,
Harumo: I am sorry my daughter, I can't save you that time. But I will protect your mother and brother for sure.
Then he left.
Hima open the stall and start selling vegetables again as a new day comes.
After some 10 days, another demon rises from the cave. Derin was happened to play at a nearby park with his friends when he felt suddenly uncomfortable. He lied down the ground and said why is this happening.
The other kids seems to not notice the danger that awaits them. As usual, to attack the village the demons needs to climb the mountain and pass by a river.
As the demon reaches near the kids, Derin actually sense a fear throughout his body and tells everyone to run. People was surprised to hear that. He kept yelling them to go. But they refused. He threw a stone at them and tell them to run away as he picks up a nearby dry branch.
His friends: Heyy! Are you playing with us?
Derin: (with sweat)Hurry up and go!
Before they could even speak another word, Derin was catch by the demon. This time the demon was about 13 feet tall. It's body was bending as it goes.
Suddenly the masked man Appears and again cuts down the demon. But this time it doesn't disapear into thin air. But split into 2.
The other kids was shocked to see Derin levitating in the air.
The Masked Man: (With a cold laugh) Ohhh! Long time no see.
And then he again cuts them down without any hesitation.
After the demons disappear, the masked man looked at the kids. They all ran away.
And then finally turning into Derin.
Derin: (with fear and surprise) Who are you. How can you see things that I can only even sense.
Masked Man: It's getting late, go home, Derin.
Then he disappears.
Derin was so afraid that he ran home shouting. After he reached home he gets on his bed and cuddled on his knees.
Hima was shocked to see that and asked what happened. Derin didn't say anything.
The day was new moon day. Harumo just returned home.
Harumo: I am ho...! Heyy? Isn't any one home?
Hima: Darling come!
Harumo: What happen?
Hima: I don't know, but Derin came running and shouting unusually and is here all alone telling that he was afraid to be alone.
Harumo: (Knowing what is happening) Don't worry, Dad will always protect you no matter what.
He cried.
On the riverside with a latern there was a man with a hoodie.
Looking at the grave before him: I am here. You aren't alone. Don't worry.
He placed a Dahlia there and sits down at the riverside.
