I had taken a brief walk to the courtyard to clear my head a bit. The room had felt suffocating, and my entire body had gone numb from staying in one place for a long time. Even though weeks had passed by, I still refused to believe that my baby was dead. I had faith that he was alive somewhere, and I would not be convinced otherwise.
I had barely gotten used to the fresh air when a sudden commotion startled me. The guards were all riled up, and everyone seemed to be in a state of frenzy. Curious, I rushed out to see what the entire commotion was all about, but was immediately intercepted by one of the guards.
"It's not safe, your grace. We need to get you to safety." He said, but I was curious to know what was going on. It seemed serious, and was something that I could not just ignore.
