Ironically this wasn't my first time in a motor accident. But it was definitely the first time I've been in one that was very much premeditated. My vision blacked out for all of three seconds before I was sharply snapped back to reality by the extremely painful feeling of being jostled around in my car as it flipped over multiple times. My seatbelt held me in place thankfully, preventing me from snapping my neck due to the violent force as the car finally crashed against a large tree.
I took a moment to gather my bearings, my instincts taking over in an instant. A quick check of my body gave me a pretty good assessment of my situation. All of my limbs still worked well enough, which meant I had not broken or torn anything important. My torso felt like it was on fire though from the impact, and my head was pounding with pain.
