"Each man must prove himself to be a warrior," the mentor's voice boomed, echoing in Ayomide's memory. "Congratulations for making it this far, but now you will need to prove yourself further."
The mentor drew his blade and offered it to the group of warriors. "Here is my blade. Take it from me."
The twelve warriors exchanged determined glances before rushing towards the mentor, Ayomide included. The intensity in their eyes was palpable, but in the blink of an eye, they all ended up on the ground, defeated.
"What was that power?" one of the fallen warriors muttered. "He didn't even hit us with his sword."
Ayomide was equally perplexed. "What is that?"
The mentor smiled, his aura radiating confidence. "That is my inner vibration—my warrior spirit, to be exact. It allows me to instill fear and submission in those with lower vibration energy or who are unaware of it."
The mentor continued, "All of you have physical strength, but without vibration, you won't make it very far, especially when fighting supernatural beings."
"How do we learn then?" one of the warriors asked, dusting off his knees.
"Yes, what do we need to do?" another chimed in.
"Come at me again, and I'll show you," the mentor challenged.
