As Evelyn and her army making their way through across Euphrates to meet Duke Shaughnessy's forces, the Imperial Army on the other side of the Empire was launching a great assault on Fristine Plateau.
Thousands of imperial soldiers were battling tens of thousands human-sized demonic spiders across the highland. The human forces were steadfast on pushing the demons back toward the Fristine Mountain which was located in the middle of the plateau.
Observing the battlefield from deep within the mountain, inside one of the large caverns situated at the peak of the Fristine Mountain, was a pale-skinned woman wearing a white dress and a veiled hat. She had an eerie look on her face which did not seem humane.
"Oh my! Look at them go!" said the woman. "The Champion and her Doulos put everything they got into exterminating my children! They did very well to get their forces this close to my nest!"
The woman turned around and started to tread deeper into the cavern.
