"Griselda!" called the duke to the blue-haired lady. "What is it do you wish to speak about, my daughter?"
The lady walked in and pointed to the map being laid in front of the duke.
"I heard you're sending Gale, your youngest, to aid with the reclamation quest." said Griselda. She grasped her father's hand and put on a pleading face. "Please tell me that's not true, father!"
The duke sighed at his daughter's words. He pulled his hand away, walked to the window, and stared his grand estate alongside the grand Alstate city beyond the glass.
"Our province is being invaded by demons, Griselda. The Shaughnessy household has a duty to protect its people." said the duke. "I have to send him to fulfill our obligation."
"You've already done that by sending your second and third son when the invasion first broke out." said Griselda. "And they've valiantly fought for our people, father! You don't need to send Gale anymore!"
