Having defeated the Nightguard, Evelyn and Godrick now could begin making their way into the dungeon. With the magical barrier destroyed, the dungeon gate was free to be opened.
But before they entered the dungeon, Evelyn raised her palm over the dungeon gate and casted a spell.

A white magic circle formed on Evelyn's palm and it shined a bright light over the dungeon's entrance.
As the light shined over the gate, scorching-black trails manifested on the gate's surface in the pattern of the dark magic circle that was used to seal the entrance.
Seeing how the gate was now marked with the pattern of the dark magic circle, Godrick could not help but ask Evelyn why she would perform such a spell that would cause that phenomenon.
"What did you just do, my lady?" asked Godrick. "What's the purpose of your spell just now?"
"To leave a trace that the dark magic circle was used to seal this gate."
