"Mother…"
Diana's eyes widened. Her mother looked healthy, but the room was a disaster.
She stood in the doorway, taking in the scene. Her gaze moved from her mother's improved condition to the destroyed room, finally resting on Julian and Erica.
"Mother, what happened here? And why..." she hesitated, her brow furrowing as she looked at Julian, "Why is he here?"
Lady Ophelia smiled warmly. "Diana, my dear. Come in, please. There's much we need to discuss."
Diana approached cautiously, her eyes never leaving Julian.
"Mother, you look... better. Much better. How is this possible?"
Ophelia's smile faltered for just a moment before she regained her composure. "My dear, sometimes miracles happen when we least expect them. The important thing is that I'm well now."
"But what does he have to do with this? And why is the room in such disarray?"
