Chapter 176 - Chapter 177: Chinese Culture is Truly Profound!

The massive luxury cruise ship sailed steadily across the sea, resembling an entire first-tier city transplanted onto the vast ocean.

Tourists on nearby ordinary cruise ships had to crane their necks just to take in the sheer scale of this giant vessel.

Each luxury suite on the ship featured its own private deck for enjoying the view, similar to the floor-to-ceiling windows in high-end neighborhoods. Guests could stand on the deck and enjoy an unobstructed view of the deep blue sea.

Outside the suites, wealthy young men holding champagne would occasionally pass by. Most were using the excuse of wishing a happy birthday to try their luck at meeting Ye Yinan.

In high society, Ye Yinan was a household name.

Those who had met her before often described her as an otherworldly goddess. Now that Ye Yinan had returned to China, even those skeptical of the hype had to admit that her beauty was unparalleled.

Upon learning she was still single, many wealthy heirs rushed in hopes of a chance encounter with her, knowing that winning her over meant more than just landing a goddess-level girlfriend—it was a golden ticket to elevate their family businesses.

Unfortunately, burly bodyguards stood guard at the suite entrance, politely turning away anyone attempting to approach with champagne.

Had those hopeful suitors seen the scene inside the suite, their worldview might have been shattered.

In the luxurious suite, on its private deck, Shen Lang absentmindedly gnawed on a shrimp tail, feeling conflicted as Ye Yinan enthusiastically sucked on his fingers.

He couldn't understand what magical seasoning his hand might have that had the little rich girl so entranced—more absorbed than when savoring the shrimp tail itself.

After finishing, Ye Yinan cradled Shen Lang's hand, rubbing her smooth, fair cheek against it like it was a treasure. Then, with bright, adoring eyes, she smiled dreamily.

"Shen Lang," she murmured, her elegant demeanor shifting to something a little... unhinged.

"Could you... insult me a little? It's been so long since you have."

"Ugh, could you act normal for once?" Shen Lang nervously pushed her flawless face away, worried she might pick up any more bad language from him. If her father, Ye Hai, ever found out she'd learned such vulgarities from him, sinking to the bottom of the ocean might become a very real possibility.

"How am I not normal?" Ye Yinan retorted seriously, her tone stubborn. "You said yourself that my hobbies are just a little unconventional."

"Fine, I don't have the energy for this right now, okay?" Shen Lang sighed.

"Then I'll let you touch my leg."

Ye Yinan lifted her delicate chin, speaking with unwavering conviction.

"Uh... but how, with that dress of yours?" Shen Lang caved almost immediately.

Her princess gown was puffed out like an upside-down bowl, completely covering her legs. There was no way he'd dive under the skirt to touch her—that'd be insane.

"Here!"

Ye Yinan grabbed the hem of her dress and confidently lifted it, revealing a pair of flawlessly white, smooth legs. Shen Lang's jaw practically dropped.

Just then, a strong sea breeze swept by, catching the hem of her dress and causing it to flutter dramatically. A glimpse of white flashed before Shen Lang's eyes.

"Ah!"

Ye Yinan let out a shy squeal, hurriedly pressing her skirt back down. Her cheeks turned a deep red as she looked at Shen Lang. "You—did you see?"

"Yeah, so?" Shen Lang replied matter-of-factly. "White, right?"

"You're so inappropriate!" Ye Yinan muttered softly, too embarrassed to meet his gaze. She turned her head to look out at the vast sea, presenting Shen Lang with a stunning side profile.

"Wait, *me*? Inappropriate?"

Shen Lang scratched his head in confusion. Where was her shame coming from? She'd just done something way bolder than anything he'd said.

All he did was accidentally catch a glimpse of her underwear, and now he was the bad guy?

Plus, of all the people on this ship, anyone could call him inappropriate—except her!

Still, this was the first time Shen Lang had ever seen Ye Yinan act shy.

"Alright, fine. Consider it a freebie." Shen Lang picked up a shrimp tail and teased her like he was feeding a pet. "Here, little rich girl, have a bite."

Ye Yinan pouted but opened her small mouth to take a bite, only for Shen Lang to mischievously lift the shrimp out of her reach.

After several playful attempts, she couldn't hold back a giggle. Flustered but amused, she threw herself into Shen Lang's arms, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"You're so annoying!" she grumbled, her pretty face showing a mix of frustration and affection.

"Thanks, I hear that a lot," Shen Lang replied cheekily, popping the shrimp tail into his own mouth.

As they stood together, the sea breeze brushed against them. Shen Lang tightened his hold around her waist, enjoying the luxurious serenity of the moment.

"I've got a joke for you," Shen Lang suddenly said, glancing at the endless ocean.

"Okay." Ye Yinan nodded, her bright eyes fixed on him with anticipation.

"Do you know why the Titanic sank?" Shen Lang asked, his tone serious.

"Because it hit an iceberg. Or maybe due to the improper distribution of cargo, causing the ship to tilt and capsize." Ye Yinan confidently answered, having watched the classic film multiple times.

"Wrong."

Shen Lang grinned slyly, leaning closer to whisper his explanation.

Ye Yinan's face immediately turned crimson.

"Shen Lang, you're so bad!" she gasped, scandalized. Her pure mind felt utterly corrupted by his explanation.

"Psh, you just don't get it." Shen Lang smirked. "This is what we call the profound depths of Chinese culture!"
