A/N
I've been feeling real motivated recently. Seeing the numbers go up has me straight GEEKIN. My EGO is thriving, I need somebody to humble me.
But make no mistake, I am not making this fanfic for the numbers. I am making it because no one else has.
My hopes with this fic is that it will make more people create crossovers like this on this site. And hopefully do it better than I do lol.
I like Undertale, and I LOVE Touhou Project. The games are not only similar, but inspired by eachother. (At least the devs are)
So when I see a complete lack of not just Undertale x Touhou, but Touhou in general, I just said "fuck it, I'll do it myself."
Please, if you're confident in your writing skills and you're reading this, PLEASE make Touhou crossovers, I'm fuckin begging here dawg...
Without further ado, here's part 2/3 of 'Incident'.
Disclaimer: Bone Sign -> Marrow sign
Lemme know if you dislike the change.

"Ahh... It feels so great out at night. The summer breeze is amazing."
A brown haired girl dressed in a red and white shrine maiden outfit was flying through the sky. She was out for a midnight stroll, and decided to look for any yokai that needed obliterating.
She was in a rather violent mood these days. She was getting fewer donations to the shrine, even fewer than usual, and that has her slightly worked up.
So, blasting any fairies she saw on her travels, she looked closely for any mischievous yokai to brutalize. She wasn't sure if they were the problem, but she would do it even if they weren't.
"But it's pretty dark huh... I can barely see a thing-"
Just as she was finishing her sentence, a bright silver light came from her right, completely catching her off guard. Looking on in the distance, she spotted the source.
"Well then, looks like I have my punching bag- I mean troublemaker. You stay right there."
She flew after the silver-engulfed figure with a cold smile, completely overlooking the enshrouded village, as well as her friend doing her best to help.

Looking around, sans realizes he's at his destination. The Misty Lake seemed to deserve it's name, as the mist made his visibility absolutely shit.
Unable to see through the fog, he attempts to gain height before sensing the air distort and leans backwards. Whizzing by his head was a rather large snowball. If it hit, it would have hurt quite a bit.
Looking to his side, he saw a silhouette. With a swipe of her hand the mist disappeared, and her form came into view.
A small, blue, dress wearing child. However, she seemed to not be human, if the icicle wings were anything to go by.
"A fairy huh?"
Sans had seen multiple fairies since the first day he came here, but none quite as large as the one before him.
"That's 'the strongest' to you, bonehead!" She crossed her arms and humphed arrogantly.
"Sure sure, anyway, I got somewhere to be, I don't have time to play with ya kid." He's had plenty of fairies attack him out of boredom. He usually just makes them laugh or intimidates them. Not quite in the mood, he attempted to fly away.
Keyword; attempted.
"Who are you calling a kid!"
Unfortunately, the ice fairy didn't take too kindly to that.
Leaping off of his blaster, he saw a hailstorm of bullets pelt it. Summoning another beneath him, he looked towards the fairy with a mean look in his eye.
"Y'know, you shouldn't just attack strangers for no reason. That's real 'cold' of you."
"Says who! You disrespected me, so you ought to pay the price." She huffed. "Hey wait a second, did you just make fun of me?!"
"Naaah."
"You did, you totally did didn't you!"
"Now why would insult someone I don't know? I'm not you."
"That's it!" The fairy got in a battle stance.
"Oh, we're actually doing this?" Sans did the same.
"You asked for it!"
The two stared off briefly before shouting
"Danmaku!"
"Danmaku."
Holding her hands together, a chilly aura emanated from them. Soon enough, magical power began to condense. Sans saw this clearly, and prepared to move.
As the magical power was compacted to it's limit, the ice fairy, which sans saw her name was Cirno, pushed her hands out, and released the floodgates.
Multiple sharp ice shards were blasted out in bursts. The bullets hit air, but the fairy wasn't finished. She shot the spread three more times, with sans leaping out of the way while continuously creating footholds.
"Darn it, stay still!"
While she was preparing another volley, sans noticed she was open. Summoning a shotgun of bones himself, he aimed for a body shot.
Cirno noticed late, and attempted to move, but was ultimately hit. However, it didn't do nearly as much compared to the fight with Rumia, and he wasn't even holding back.
'Man, they weren't kidding about the attack nerf.'
As a result, this simply made her more irritated.
"Why you..! Alright then, let's see how you like this!"
Cirno took out a card from somewhere and called out it's name.
"Hail Sign - Hailstorm!"
"Gimme a break..."
Sans watched as Cirno spontaneously burst out volley after volley of icicles with differing speeds and angles. Sighing to himself, he piloted his blaster straight into the wall of bullets.
Making sure to grip his ride tightly, he laid prone, and aimed for a gap big enough to fit through. He felt his blaster take a couple of hits, but he couldn't worry about that.
He continuously aimed for gaps he could just barely squeeze through, and retreating backwards when there weren't any. Slowly but surely making his way through the spell card, he sighed in relief realizing he was almost through. Then he realized he was driving straight into a bullet.
Doing one last emergency barrel roll, sans found himself on the other side.
However, waiting for him was Cirno with a sword made of ice. She seemed to have set him up, as she came with a running (flying) swing. Pushing himself off, he narrowly avoided another slash wound in his chest.
He spawned a static bone in the air to kill his momentum, when Cirno followed up with a diagonal swing.
"Dodge this!"
'Nah, I won't.'
Sans had experienced this technique before with marisa, and quickly spawned a bone in his hand. He would take the initiative this time. Leaping towards the ice fairy, he forcefully clashed with her, catching her off guard.
The clash was brief, but sans managed to push Cirno back, while also breaking her sword. He wouldn't stop there however. Creating another platform beneath him, he followed up with an upwards swing.
The situation was reversed on her, and unfortunately, our poor ice fairy isn't as quick witted as the comedian.
"Dodge this."
Cirno received a devastating blow to the chin, which briefly knocked her out of the air and a shockwave broke out. She quickly regained her balance, however, and rubbed her chin with a teary look in her eyes.
"Tch, to capture my spell card... you just got lucky! I'm gonna hit you twice as hard!" It was hard to take her seriously when she seemed on the verge of tears.
"Seems I tend to 'get lucky' often. Anyway, are you sure you wanna keep going? I hit you pretty hard."
"Don't look down on me! I'm the strongest, I will nOt lose here!"
Her voice choked slightly, which she noticed. This made her extremely upset.
"Grraah! No! I'm not crying, shut up!"
Cirno took out another spell card.
"Jeez... I didn't even say anything..."
"Ice Sign - Icicle Fall!"
From behind her, dozens of icicles rose up and rained directly down on him. Sans grimaced, but quickly gained a focused expression, he calculated the trajectory and amount before holding out his hand.
Summoning just as many bones as there are icicles, sans fired at a specific angle and time for each of them. One by one, the bullets were shattered by sans' bones, until there were almost none left.
"Wha- no way! That's cheating!" Cirno knew it wasn't cheating.
Still, angered by her spell card being cancelled out, she redoubles her efforts, and sans matches her fervor. The two approach a stalemate where neither can land a hit on the other.
Cirno, in a last, desperate manuever begins crazily pushing out bullets, resulting in a dense storm of icicles, containing none of the grace from before. In that moment, sans spots the opening he's been waiting for. He's buck tired by now. Both his body and mind are sore, and his mana reserves are below half. So taking advantage of her desperation, he seizes an opportunity.
Ding
"Nothing personal kid."
Teleporting behind her, sans has four bones aimed directly at her back. Before she can even turn around, he proceeds to reconfigure her spine. Cirno lets out a painful shout as she's blasted away, and another shockwave breaks out, signaling the capture of a spell card.
"Oof, that's gotta hurt."
Sans winces he watches her body almost turn into a "V" shape. He feels a little bad for her, as she's clearly just an overconfident kid. So it's unfortunate that she's so stubborn.
However, sans knows she's tough, so he has no doubt she'll be back very soon. Unfortunately, sans is still tired, so he decides to leave before that.
'Man, I should have just forfeit. I have so much less time now.'
"You're gonna pay for that!!" Cirno's voice echoes through the mist.
'Yeah, let's leave.'
Summoning his Gaster Blaster, he darts off into the misty expanse, praying he was still going the right way.
"Ah, I forgot to use my spell cards."

When Cirno gets back, she sees nothing but fog.
"Dang it! He's gone!"
Cirno was incredibly upset. She had been winning danmaku after danmaku since the system was put in place. And after destroying all of her (weak) friends, she had crowned herself the strongest.
Untill now.
"Hmm, wait a sec. He was just scared! After getting a cheap shot off on me, he ran away! That's still a win by default! Hah, I really am a genius."
By now, Cirno had completely erased the fact that she had never landed a single hit from her mind. All that mattered to her was the result. She neither used all three spell cards, and the pale guy didn't fight to the end.
Technically, it WAS her win.
Indeed, when it came to copium, she was rather intelligent. She even momentarily gained knowledge of what a "win by default" was.
Of course, she would refuse the fact that she wouldn't have won.
As Cirno was reveling in her imaginary victory, she sensed another presence.
Turning around, she saw a black silhouette in the fog. As it got closer, cirno could make out a girl in red and white clothes.
'Hah, yes! Another person to add to my victory streak!'
Pumping her fist, Cirno prepares to get in another fight. Her back was still slightly sore, but she could handle it. After all, she IS the strongest.

"Phew..."
Sans just barely managed to escape from the durable ice fairy. He could not afford to continue fighting, as his mana reserves were less than half.
"It seems I used that healing magic a little too expeditiously."
Once again, sans was not good at healing magic. And as it turns out, using magic you're not good at, is exhausting.
So now here he is. Lying flat on his Blaster while moving through the mist, he focused on recovering his mana through breathing. It was a blessing that this Land of Illusions was so packed with magic.
He could also do it way back in the underground, but he honestly couldn't remember when he last did. And he couldn't do it during the fight with frisk either.
"She was way too aggressive to recover anything meaningful, the little freak."
Shaking his head, sans decided to stop reminiscing. He closed his eyes, and continued recovering.
He stayed still like this for a couple of minutes, taking great care not to fall asleep. It was when he was back up to half, when he felt the atmosphere change. It was a lot warmer and the air was more humid.
Sitting up, sans saw a new sight, which has been happening a lot since he came here. Looking around he could see the biggest body of water he's ever seen.
The rippling waves of the lake struck a chord in him. He felt almost engulfed by the vastness of it, which he thought wasn't a bad thing.
As he saw the reflection of the full moon on the lake, he became mystified.
The sheer atmosphere made him realize again where exactly he was. This sight wasnt available anywhere in the underground. No, this was only possible on the surface.
However, looking forward broke him out of that daze, as the sight reminded him of why he was here.
Straight ahead, was a large island, and in the dead center was an equally impressive mansion. The sight was also incredible, but unfortunately, he could feel no good will.
'Remilia Scarlet. You better have a good reason for this.'
Sans noticed that far below him was an eerie red mist. It was surrounding the manor like a haze, and the trail of red mist led directly to it.
Remembering what he had seen, and what he had to do, sans once again looked at the beautiful lake. He wanted see the view without the red mist, and he wanted his friends to see it too.
Feeling this sentiment in his core, he felt a pleasant, fiery feeling engulf his being.
This feeling, he had experienced it on the verge of death, and multiple times throughout his life in Gensokyo. Yes, he had become intimately familiar with this feeling.
DETERMINATION.
As soon as he thought that, he felt his mana reserves fill up to max almost immediately. Any sores and headaches he had vanished, as if they were a dream.
Sans looked down at his hand, and clenched tight.
"Let's do this."
Sans turned and rode the blaster backwards. Aiming towards the mansion, he gripped the crown of his ride, and gave the order.
At his command, the blaster charged up a beam, and fired at full power. Immediately, sans felt inertia try to tear his arms off, but he was prepared. He gradually accelerated and eventually, he became stable. As sans felt the warm summer air whip at his face, he smiled widely.
He wouldn't mess this up.

"Ugh, stupid ice fairy."
The brown haired girl shook off a couple of ice chunks. She had just defeated an annoyingly sturdy ice fairy. While she was able to blow off a bit of steam, she also got hit once, and was now very cold.
As she broke through the fog, she no longer felt the need to beat up the mystery figure. However, still curious about where they were going, she decided to pursue a little more.
It was then she saw a bright light quickly approach her.
Casually moving out of the way, the beam passed right by her. She looked at the mystery figure blasting off with a renewed annoyance.
"Nevermind then. Seems I still need to crack some skulls."
Cracking her knuckles, the chase resumed.

"uuuu..."
Cirno was once again, very sad, as she fought the shrine maiden, and lost.
Floating through the mist, aimless and teary-eyed, she swore at her latest opponent.
"That stupid Miko! She was totally cheating! Those tracking amulets are completely unfair!"
She grumbled on about reasons why she lost, and how she would have won otherwise. But the reality is, she just lost.
Ruminating upon her misery, and swearing to get vengeance, she reviewed the fight she just had.
"Hmm... Let's see, so I used my signature move, and then she got through it. After that...
...
...?
How did I lose?"
Of course, that would be the case. It seems that our little ice fairy doesn't have much capacity for hindsight.
Or foresight, for that matter.
As fairies do.
So the only conclusion that she can arrive to is,
"Well, didn't I win then?"
...
"Hah, as expected of me!"
brr
"Yeah, there's no way I could lose! I'm the strongest!"
brrrrrrrrr
"That shrine maiden must have used some petty trick! Like that bone guy."
BRRRRRRRRRRRR
"What the heck is that stupid noise!"
Looking to her left, Cirno could only see white.
"Ah."
And that was all she wrote.
