There are situations where you simply have no words to say, express, or even offer ideas. You just go blank and don't know what to say. The most common reaction in these cases is to be stunned or stupefied, with silence—eternal silence—as the response. No words, no murmurs, just silence. I had some idea of what was going through my mind, my great mind and the speed with which I normally draw conclusions. They are gone. At this moment, I am part of the crowd, stunned, confused, stupefied, and afraid. I am afraid. There are many eyes, more than I can imagine. Everyone is seeing the same thing I am, absolutely, without a doubt.
