Chapter 31 - Inside the Forest

In the midst of a cold forest, a Young Man and a Young Woman could be seen. They were swiftly running through the darkness, the young man holding a small white phantom Magic Beast.

They were none other than Asroth and Asrah.

For two hours, they ran through the forest in search of a suitable place to settle. Asroth planned to construct a house in a suitable location within the forest, where he and Asrah would strengthen themselves for a year before embarking on a journey to the Crain Kingdom.

After another two hours, they could hear the chirping of birds. Asroth halted when he saw a small waterfall. Not far from it, there was an area suitable for building a house. There were beautiful flowers around and some fireflies flying about.

"Let's build our house here," said Asroth.

Asrah nodded and hugged Frost, whom Asroth had brought down. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the trees.

Asrah also marveled at the colorful fireflies and butterflies around them, approaching the tall flowers nearby.

Thanks to the moonlight, the beauty of the surroundings was clearly visible even at night.

Asroth gathered some rocks from the river and then, using [fire ball], he made a fire. He also took out a half-step magic beast from his storage ring. They had killed it in the forest on their way here.

After they both ate, Asroth laid the Magic Beast's skin on the grass to use as bedding.

Asrah quickly lay down because she had almost exhausted her Mana running here earlier.

Asroth also lay down beside Asrah, and they both looked up at the sky.

The fireflies continued to fly around them, while above, Asroth looked at the countless stars next to the two large moons.

"Do you believe that a mortal can defeat a Mana warrior?" Asroth suddenly asked.

Asrah shook her head.

"That's impossible. Their bodies are weak, so they can only do so much," Asrah replied. She faced Asroth and noticed him looking at the sky.

"Wrong. They are not limited; they just lack the knowledge," said Asroth.

"Did you know they can fly in the air?" Asroth softly said.

"How could they do that?"

"Using what they call an Airplane. They use it as transportation in the sky to go to other places," explained Asroth.

"Airplane..."

"They can also communicate even from far away. Farther than what Mana Warriors can do using what they call a Cellphone."

Throughout the night, Asroth talked about his knowledge from Earth to Asrah.

She was amazed by Asroth's stories, even though she didn't fully understand them. She marveled at the capabilities of things Asroth described, realizing that even Mana warriors lacked these.
