Akira turned to Archie's friends, who were clearly anxious. Placing a hand on Brook's shoulder, Akira said, "Guys, you have to do the cleanup." The friends sighed in relief, realizing they were not going to be harmed.
Using earth magic, Akira created a large pit, adding black fire to it. "Make sure no one alive is dropped in this pit. This black fire is magical and will never stop burning." Everyone was amazed; it was their first time seeing black fire. Akira then ordered the goblins to strip the soldiers of any loot, no matter how small or damaged, and throw the bodies into the fire pit. The goblins began their task, stripping armor and jewelry from each body and placing them on the ground. Two goblins dragged each body to the pit and dropped it in.
Akira reassured Archie's friends, "Don't worry, the nasty work is done by the goblins. You just need to make multiple trips to the mansion and drop the loot there." They were even calmer now, relieved that they wouldn't be part of the field's corpses.
Akira walked to a tree Alphagob had been chopped down and sat against it. Jarvis followed, standing beside him. Archie tried to help his friends who were collecting the loot and placing them on the carriage, but Akira stopped him, "Archie, you have a big day today. Don't you want to prepare a speech for the townsfolk so they choose you?" Reminded of the election, Archie got nervous and paced, thinking about his speech. Akira added, "Don't dirty your clothes, or people will think you're a murderer," and cracked a small laugh. Archie laughed awkwardly.
Akira asked Jarvis, "What kind of person is Archie?"
Jarvis replied, "We've only spent a few days with him, but I can tell he is a good-hearted person."
Akira agreed, "He is also funny."
Jarvis asked, "Master, what are your next plans? I believe this is the remains of the small army that was supposed to be here."
Akira nodded, "Yes, this is the army from the Kingdom of Duatt. Supposing there's no one left to send a message to the main army, they will come early. We need to get ready, but don't worry, Jarvis. We will win."
Jarvis expressed concern, "Our base is far away from here. You can teleport, but will you be able to manage these two places? Will you stay here longer?"
Akira pondered, "Now that you mention it, let's solve this issue." He teleported the wyvern to him, finding it sleeping. The wyvern, smelling the corpses, woke up, looked around, and tried to sleep again. Akira told it, "We have to go. You can sleep later." The wyvern looked annoyed, and Akira remarked, "I see you've developed a personality."
Akira climbed onto the wyvern and told Jarvis to do the same. Jarvis joined him, and the wyvern pushed off the ground, gaining altitude with strong flaps of its wings. Akira shouted to Gammagob, "Let me know when all of it is done." Archie asked, "My lord, what do I do now?" Akira teleported Archie to the town. People saw Archie appear out of the blue in the center of town and then people started to gather around him. Archie looking at it as an opportunity started to tell people why they should choose him as the governor of this town.
As Akira and Jarvis flew, Jarvis admired the view, "This is beautiful."
Akira pointed out the geography, "The town is surrounded by rivers and neighboring three kingdoms. The rivers have made the land very fertile. We can defend against other kingdoms using bridges. From these bridges, one's army can easily enter the other kingdom."
Jarvis agreed, and Akira revealed his plan, "We will make this town a separate nation." Jarvis was shocked but didn't question it, replying, "Yes, master."
Jarvis asked, "Now that we are going to be a separate nation, will we abandon our old base?"
Akira answered, "No, we won't. Look at the mountains. We will set our base there, away from the town. We can build new things there. As for our old base, I have decided where to put it." He ordered the wyvern to land near the mountains.
Akira pointed out as they landed, "The town is straight ahead, and Concordia is to the west from here. It's a good place to start development. This will be the place where we will relocate our base to" Jarvis then reminded him, "It's noon, my lord. We have an important event to conduct." Akira agreed, teleporting them to the garden of the mansion. The wyvern immediately went to sleep. Akira and Jarvis walked to the center of the town, seeing people closing their stalls and gathering.
Using earth magic, Akira created a small stage and a stone podium. He added mana to his throat and announced, "Good people of this town, my name is Akira, also known as the adventurer Fate." He pulled off his mask, revealing his face. "I am pleased to see you all here to choose your leader who will govern this town. There are some rules that we will follow. Only a resident of this town will be able to stand as a candidate for the governor and only residents of the town can vote, everyone else can just observe. I will remain neutral throughout the process. I want the candidates to come on the stage."
Archie walked to the stage, Akira smiled while looking at him thinking that he is the only candidate so he will win automatically, but another man joined him. Akira asked Jarvis, "Do you know him?"
Jarvis replied, "Yes, my lord. When I worked for Lord Henry, he used to do business with him. He is a big merchant here."
Akira decided, "Let's have both candidates give a speech. After that, the people will decide who will become the governor of this place." Akira then tells the merchant," As you are older than Archie then it's right to say that you can first give your speech. The merchant bowed to Akira and said,"Yes my lord" and then went to the podium.
