Eiravyne shrank back when she saw the woman's anger, her heart pounding in her chest.
She took several steps backward, but the woman continued advancing toward her, a predatory gleam in her eyes, as if she were about to inflict harm.
"You have no idea what you've brought upon us," the woman hissed, her voice low and menacing. "Ilkar should have left you where you belong."
Eiravyne's back hit the wall, her breath quickening as the woman closed the distance between them.
She could see the fury etched in the woman's features, the intensity of her gaze burning into her own.
"What... what do you want from me?" Eiravyne stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
The woman sneered, her lip curling in disdain. "I want you gone," she spat. "You and your cursed presence have no place here. You're nothing but a disruption, a stain on everything Ilkar has built."
